Thumbs down Gahhhhhhhhhh ... 2 lb increase :(

Well, i went to weight watchers for my weighin, and I gained 2.2 lbs! AHHHHHHH...

What a major blow! What do i do now? Step it up a bit? Little more water? I get enough exercise. I walk close to 7, 000 steps a day! Should I increase it to 8, 000 steps? I do my aqua fitness class 3 x's a week... What?

I really need some ideas. I have 5 months until my friends wedding, and I really don't want to go looking like this!

Are you on flex or core?

If you're on flex are you making sure you're sticking to your daily points with healthier foods?

If you're on core are you sure you're only eating until satisfied?

Are you drinking enough water or at least tracking your water intake?

When you say you get 7,000 steps a day, is that total or is that just while exercising? I've heard that 10,000 is what people should aim for. (not that you should just jump up to 10,000 steps out of the blue)

Were you eating salty things recently? Sometimes it can be a little water weight gain.

It's only one week. So, go over your tracker (if you haven't been writing everything down, it may be time to start) and simply look over your last week. You may find a couple of things that could be changed/improved.

Patience. You will get there.

7, 000 steps doesn't include exercise! Thats just working, and going for walks... I generally don't eat salty things, and I've been staying away from the "bad" snacks. I don't know what it could be... I know it's 2.2 lbs, and I don't know where it came from. Next week, I will work harder tho..

You need to give us more information if you are are looking for some help!

Are you on Flex? If so, what is your points target? What has been your daily points intake for the past few days? What types of foods are you eating?

Are you on Core? If so, are you eating past your "satisfied" point? Are you counting your non core foods out of your 35 extra points?

Also, are you following the 8 healthy guidelines (at least 5 servings fruits and veggies, at least 2 servings of dairy, etc)?

Give us some more information so that we can help you!

5,000 steps a day is what everyone should have no matter what
10,000 steps is ideal
20,000 = one 30 min moderate work out

as far as weight watchers..I never gained unless I was eating over my points (I never did core) and if I wasn't exercising. So go over your points and your exercise and see what you're missing.

If you're not writing everything down, you may be skipping some stuff.
