I don't know if we're allowed to post such links, but I googled WW Australia, and it looks like their "points" plan is identical to the Flex plan we've got here in the USA.

Good luck!

LizzieW,

Thanks, but the WW Australia points plan dosent mention 35 flex points a week. I havent been to a WW meeting in a while but, as far as I am aware the only way you can get extra points over your allowed 20 or 20 points is when you do excercise.

Ah...I see what you're asking! Since we can't get that detailed info without being members of WW Australia I guess we need to wait for an Aussie's answer here. (But I can't imagine why the plans would be significantly different )

Good luck!

I'm interested in the answer to this -- if you end up finding out from WW, please let us know how it turns out! My instinct would be to say that it's absolutely the same because, well, just cos you're in a different hemisphere doesn't mean you've got a different metabolism or anything, right? People are still people.. So I don't know why they wouldn't allot you Flex points...

Just generally, I think. They don't want to give away their secrets til you pay them money There are far more comprehensive resources on this website -- take a browse through the stickies at the top of this forum, and feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Hi

I was on the official WW forum in Australia and asked the question of the members on there, they seemed to think I was mad "WHAT!! 35 EXTRA POINTS A WEEK". So the feed back I got seemd to suggest No we dont follow the Flex Points plan in Oz. So if anyone would maybe like to give me a run down on how it works that would be great. Maybe your starting points are lower to begin with?

On the WW general forum there are stickies that give you the info. you're looking for. It kind of sounds to me like the old US program where you had a range of points that you could kind of use like flex points, you had a range of points for your weight rather than the one number you have now.

You understand we can't give out copyrighted information or they may come after this site and we'd all be sad if something happend to 3FC. Whoever posted about the $$ was right.

A very interesting question! I will ring them in New Zealand as well, never really thought about the flex plan over here since I do it on the cheap, and just use what I already know and use this wonderful site. I use my 22 pts a day and save the 35 for the weekend for the bbq and beers. Works for me and I don't feel guilty. And belive me it does not take me long to munch down 35 pts, lol. will lwt u's know later.
