Default PMS diet disasters!

Hey ladies!!!

Does anyone else completely lose track of their diet before their periods? I have terrible PMS and during that time of month I totally fall off course with my eating. I also suffer from horrible bloating which just makes me want to binge even more!

Any hot tips to avoid this monthly disaster?

I don't have anny suggestions BUT AMEN TO ALL OF THE ABOVE. no matter WHAT I do I continue to feel like a bloated cow. Then I turned around and ate almost a WHOLE bag of snack mix (it was baked) but still 230 calories a serving.

NOW I feel even worse..blame it on the PMS.

Bloating sucks, goodluck on trying to find some remedies. I'll keep checking back to catch some good ones myself!

umm....yeah. lol I like to eat a lot of salty stuff...which doesn't help with bloating at all.

i've been having some difficulty this month with tom and wanting to eat everything in sight (especially the sweets!). i've just been trying to keep myself busy and avoid being around anything that would tempt me to stray off course. it's been difficult, but getting easier everyday!

I get ridiculously hungry and could just eat all day. However I think my body does need some extra calories since I don't usually gain as long as I drink a lot of water and stay somewhat in control. My cravings are usually for cheeseburgers and chocolate. No, not together

Yeah, I have read that your metabolism rate is usually higher during your period.

I recently just had my TOM last weekend and was really surprised how well I did with staying OP. Chocolate used to be the devil around my TOM. No mas!

mm chocolate. There is this jar on my desk at work that I put all of my christmas chocolate in (why my family puts like 5 bags of chocolate in a fat girls stocking is beyonf me). Well I put it there for other people to eat and I've found that I'm the only person eating it.

I get SO hungry (especially because TOM is approaching) and of course the only in here is that jar of chocolate.

As I stare at it only 1/4 full now and realize I probably ate most of that. I feel sick.

I wish sweet cravings would take a hike.

i guess its a disaster for everyone!

This month i'm going to try drinking a lot of water. Water seems to help with my sweet cravings but i still want pretzels and chips!

This month I substituted super dark chocolate for my fav. milk chocolate. Maybe it is a TEENY bit better?

I don't really bloat, but I *definately* get cravings for chocolate.

So last time I made up a TINY batch of chocolate chip cookies and split them with my hubby---- no, they weren't GREAT for me, but it was better then making a whole batch and devouring ALL of them like I used to!

I believe we have to give in to cravings (to SOME extent) when they happen or we are BOUND to fail one day b/c we haven't allowed ourselves to indulge once in a while. I think that's why I've done so well my first month (16.4 pounds)...

I'm more in tune with my body and am eating when it tells me it's hungry, not when *I* tell it that it's time to eat! And when my body wants some sweets, I listen to it b/c I know I'll be in trouble one day if I don't!
