Default Checkin in

Well I started on the 31st with my calorie counting and have lost 6 pounds!!! I'm excited and can't wait for the rest of the weight to drop, I really need to start exercising!

How is everyone else doing? This board is motivation for me so I would like to be a little more active

You're off to a great start, keep making it happen. Nothing going on with me, just plodding along like everybody else.

Wow - 6 lbs.! That is awesome.

I'm doing fine - I'm a tortoise - 1-2 lbs. every week. But, slow and steady has gotten me this far - I'm not knocking it

Great Job!
I'm at a stand still for another few days because it's my TOM. Hoping that I will have a loss of a few pounds when it's over and the water rentention is gone.

I just started exercising today, I about died lol I did 15 minutes on the treadmill and then 15 on the bike. I need to put the scale away because since the 6.5 pounds I haven't lost for 2 days ugh! I'm going to TRY to exercise at least every other day but its so hard with 4 kids. Thanks for the support!

Try only weighing once a week...the scale can be EVIL if you aren't used to the flucuations.

WTG at getting your workout in - I can't imagine how hard it must be with 4 kids. How about getting the kids involved in the exercise? Will they go for a walk with you? (Maybe at the mall before hours if it's too cold in VA)

DMN- Great job so far on the loss!!! That's terrific. Yeah exercise can be daunting, but it will totally pay off in the end. Good luck to you!

Also, you can average your daily weight over the course of a week, because weight tends to fluctuate on a day to day basis.
