Default Made my December 31st goal
Well, I was sort of limping my way to the finish line but I made it and then some. My goal was 272 and I weighed in today at 269.6!

I started this back at the beginning of September. I was going great through October. Then life got in the way. Then I got in my way. I ended up sort of taking November and December off. I still managed to lose a few pounds through those two months. Maybe it was the stress of the holidays.

The last week here hasn't been fun. At 2:30am the day after Christmas I woke up in terrible pain and went to the ER. They said it was probably my gall bladder. They drugged me up and sent me home. Friday I had an ultrasound to look at the gall bladder. I'm still waiting to hear from the doctor to tell me just what's wrong. So since Wed. last week I've been eating VERY carefully. I get practicly no fat at all. No fun but it sure makes the weight start to slide off. So that was just what I needed to help limp me over the goal line for the end of the year.

I have now lost 43.6 pounds this year! Here's to the next 40! and the next!

Good job Supersub! I hope you're feeling better soon.

Now you know that you really can lose forty pounds. They say that first stretch of weight loss is the hardest. Now that you know you can do it, it's just a matter of doing it again.

Vixjean- yes, I've lost it all since the beginning of September. Most of it was in Sept. and October. I kind of got lazy through Nov. and Dec.. I only lost about 7 pounds those two months.

After all I've read it might have been my quick loss (and all the crap I ate that day) that caused the gall bladder attack.

That's great you met your goal!!! Also, 7 pounds in two months is still great!
