i walked for just under 2 hours at a moderate pace (3.5-4mph)
i studied in uni for 5 hours which is intesne brain power, note making, thrist building work.

i then came home and did the usual house stuff, cleaning, cooking, doing a bit of reading ect.

Now i know im not exactly wonder woman, but its not like i sat on my *** all day doing nothing.!!!!!

I don't think studying while sitting at a desk burns any more calories than watching TV, sadly.

Sorry, I can't be more help, I concentrated on eating whole foods and counting calories but didn't calculate my daily deficit.

Is that just how much you earned based on activity? Or is it activity plus your basal metabolism (ie, what you DID plus what you burned just to stay alive?) They are different numbers!

It is possible to overcomplicate this. I personally concentrate on calories and try not to get overinvolved in every detail, but if it helps you to do so go ahead. The best diet for you is the one you will follow.

yeh i guess so, i was just intreested. i only looked at activity, over basic metabolism calories i know that i should prob have 2000 to maintain a day because of my height (but i cant maintain at that hig a calorie cause of my slow metabolism) so im hoping 1400 will let me loose.

I keep my calories eaten totally separate from my calories burned. I eat what I eat, and I burn what I burn. The amount of food I eat does not change with the amount of activity/exercise that I do. Any calories burned is a bonus. Besides, I don't trust those calculators at all. I find them to be highly inaccurate. There is no way on earth they can no what any one individual is really and truly burning with a particular activity.
