this is like a lets get it pulled together and finish with a bang goal! There is slightly over 3 weeks till American Thanksgiving so lets all set a goal...what can YOU accomplish in the next 3 weeks. From today till November 22. Post up your goal, what reward you will be giving yourself for meeting that goal. And them come give back whenever you can and post a for each lb you lose in your goal!

Great idea Melissa - thanks for the much needed shot of motivation.
I'm going for 5 turkeys.
Reward will be taking one of the days of the long Thanksgiving weekend to do just whatever I WANT to do - all day long - even if that's just sitting in the yard watching the leaves fall.

Three weeks? Uuuuugh. I'm going to shoot big and save five turkeys. (That is saying a lot because I'm the maid-of-honor in my best friend's wedding in 2 weeks.)
I can't think of a good reward because I'm trying SO HARD to watch my spending. So, the joy of being under 145 is enough for me.

3 weeks? I think I'm going to shoot for 4 Turkeys. My weight loss has been slow lately, about 1 pound a week average, so I'm not going to overshoot. That will put me at 145 which will be a big thing for me!
My reward is going to be an outing to look at wedding dresses while I am home for Thanksgiving (I'm not getting married until next fall, but it doesn't hurt to look and see what styles I like!)

I dig the Turkey challenge! Since I'm a part of a WOW challenge elsewhere, and my goal there is losing 2 pounds a week, essentially, from now until the end of the Challenge, I'm going to lose 6 ! It's going to mean some serious exercising and watching my food...but I'm gonna do it. The 3 important things: Food, Exercise and WATER!
Thanks for posting this. It's also a great way to bring the teams together for a common goal! Yay for solidarity!
Oh! I forgot what prize I'm going to give myself when I lose my 6 turkeys... Hmmm... I think I'm going to buy myself a couple new sports bras and some new gym shirts!
