Way to go Trazey ^^ There's nothing wrong with the fact that losing weight benefits us more than just in physical health ways.

I just went through some clothes this weekend. I remember when I bought them because "they fit." Now I'm looking at them going. "THEY'RE UGLY!" I have a little more choice in what I wear now, and I can't wait until I have a TON of choices.

Congratulations! I think it is more fun to find old skinny clothes in the closet that fit than to buy new ones.

Thumbs up I am envious

Hooooray for You!!!

You can wear a size 20 at 282 lbs????? I wish...... I weigh 244 lbs and a size 26W fits me nicely and I have been exercising 1 hour 6x a week for the past two months. My husband says I am getting an hour glass figure, which is nice to hear, but I am still wearing a lot bigger size than you.

Where are you buying your clothes?? I want to shop there!!

Keep the good work up!!

i KNOW isn't it weird??? I'm tall, but still?! I'm pretty sure it's just those ONE pair of pants, I'm not getting too excited LOL

Although at my heaviest, a 24 pants were just getting too tight so maybe i'm built weird?? I don't know!

I'm in Canada so about the only places i CAN shop are Pennington's, and Cotton Ginny - these are CG pants! yay!

Sizes fit people SO differently...I take forever to drop a pant size. I am just now getting my size 20's on...but I am a total Apple shape.

Way to go!!! I realized the vanity/clothes thing may be prevailing on my weightloss journey now as I went shopping with friends today and saw all the cute small clothes and wasn't depressed but motivated to be able to fit in them myself. I recall a few of the maintainers saying along the way clothes came into play as their motivation. It's an AWESOME motivator. I'm down only one size after losing nearly 40 lbs. but there is much more of a weight difference between the larger sizes versus smaller sizes where 10 lbs. makes a huge difference in fit.

Keep it up!!!

I definitely think Tracey's height has a lot to do with her sizing, that and everyone's body is a little different. I love Lane Bryant's new "Right Fit" jeans -- I'm a "square/yellow" -- and it's amazing how good those pants fit me. I used to have a problem where I had to compromise: too tight of a waistline or really saggy butt/thighs. If you have a huge problem fitting into pants right, you may want to check 'em out. However, they are a bit pricy for "transitional" clothing at $39.50 a pair. I splurged on 2 because I had a coupon, but I figure I should be able to wear them for a few months and maybe even resell them if they are still in good condition. BUT, really, having clothing that fits me and looks good makes me feel confident and attractive, and that is priceless! Though, I'm saving my money for the end of journey the most. I'll just buy a few nice things here and there as my sizing changes and not go totally nuts with a full-blown wardrobe with every size... I don't have that kind of money to burn, unfortunately!

Yeah you all are right. Sizing is so wierd and each person is different. At 307 I was in a 26. At 255 I am in a 20. Im 5'8.

Rakel.. I totally understand your sizing issue. I have the same problem. I usually have to get my jeans tighter around the waist so they dont look like Im packing a load in the back .
