Default Another Newbie...hi!

Hi, everyone! I am also a newbie but am determined that THIS time I am going to lose the weight and in a healthy manner! I'm not sure what I weigh (I try to stay away from scales!) but I suspect I need to lose about 200 lbs. I am doing Diet-to-Go (this is my 2nd week) and I am sticking to it without a problem. The food is good and easy to prepare. My schedule is crazy so in the past all I ever did was drive-thrus. I know I don't have time to cook so I thought this would be a good alternative.

I have the usual health problems that comes with being heavy. High Blood Pressure. Painful knees. Back Pain. My back hurts so much I can't stand up or walk for long. Makes exercise difficult if not impossible. Hopefully as I lose some weight that will get better and then I can start exercising! I'm also looking for any non-impact exercise if anyone has any suggestions.

Well, I guess that's all for now. This seems like a very supportive forum and I'm in looking forward to skinny-fying with you all!!

We DO know what it's like!

If you're just getting started on exercise, it's okay to start slow. I don't know if you have access to a gym, where you can try bicycles or ellipticals, or maybe swimming?

But it DOES get better as you lose. I have so much less back and knee pain and can just DO so much more!

Please do join us on the weekly thread!
