As in a previous thread, staycie had done some editing to the Black Team roster based on people who did not weigh in by her deadline of 11PM Monday night - I went through the entire weigh-in thread and made my own list of who should be on the Black Team based on their "edited by" dates which are found at the bottom of each post. I found discrepancies in the list staycie made. I'm not being "rude" but she said that her list "stands" and I found a few names on her list of people who haven't even weighed in for week 3. There are also girls she passed over who weighed in on time. Here is her list.... following this list is the revised list of who should be on the Black Team based on getting their weights in by the deadline of 11PM Monday night... PS, Staycie, where is your weigh-in posts on the Black Team weigh in thread???? I found 2 of them, but the latest weigh-in for you on either of them was week 1...... so "technically" you've missed your own deadline and shouldn't even be included on your own list or on the Black Team at all.

There are 10 names on this list which were not included on your original list and should have been.....
I hope you will reconsider your "this list stands" mentality about your list. These people obviously weighed-in on time. We've had fun as a team.... we've done great as a team.... and I hate to see something "fun" turn into something confrontational.

Thanks LondonJulz! - I don't mean to cause a problem either and heaven knows that running one of these challenges is very time consuming and prone to headaches.

I will be gone the rest of the week so I'm going to just carry over my weigh in for next week. But if I'm off the team I will be sad but I understand.

And I do understand we need to have rules on something like this.

If her original list "stands", I will be taking myself off the black team... maybe we can mutiny and form our own "black & blue" team.... get it.... black and blue like we got beat up..... HA!!! okay.... maybe it wasn't so funny after all... Don't throw in the towel just yet though.....

I hesitated to respond because people tend to become very angry and treat me poorly when I am honest, or misinterpret open discussion for arguing. It is my intent that people listen to what I am sharing with an open heart and mind.

Alright, here goes!

If there is no consistency in applying the rules, then there may as well not even BE a "competition"--it would just as well be a group of random people, joining together (a la Weight Watcher's meetings) who meet as a group but compete ONLY against themselves and participate only when they want to, with no penalty for not participating when one chooses to be absent, for whatever reason.

On a separate point, it's not balanced to cut some people out when the numbers don't lie--posts edited by times are accurate, and to include others who really did NOT follow the rules is inconsistent and unfair as well.

DOnt worry there will be no black team anymore, but just to let you know, you probaly dont have a lie to sit there and fiqure this all out, and probaly just a very rude peorson. Criticize you in public????? I'm standing up for my fellow Black Team members who were excluded from your little list.... when you said you "double checked" everything but people have still found mistakes and you refused to listen to them..... I was calling attention to a mistake that you made but you were not owning up to. I did not criticize you.

I will graciously remove myself from the Black Team.... I'm a great person.... a FAIR person.... and I think that I was a positive person in the team.... I was doing what any team member would have done.... stick up for those who were left out and shouldn't have been. But I think that the Black Team does not need a "leader" like you.... by the way... maybe you should remove yourself... if you can't follow your own rules by posting your weigh-ins on time (there's no weigh-ins posted for you for weeks 2 OR 3) , don't you think that's a little bit of a double-standard???? I would think that a team leader should practice what they preach, huh? Or maybe the Black Team should vote you out?

Just, before I go, admit your mistake and allow the girls who followed your weigh-in deadlines back on your list..... that really isn't fair to them to be "kicked off" because of an oversight on your part.
