So, quite obviously, I am loco! I was here a couple of months ago, considering RNY and then I read some memorials on another WLS website, got all freaked out and backed away fast. I stayed away from the idea for almost two months, but now it has come around again, and I feel much more at peace about the idea than I did before, which is good!

I am waiting for my consult to be scheduled (we sent in our paperwork last week. They review and then call us to set up the first appointment) and we (hubby and I) are starting WW this week for one of two three month structured diet plans that insurance requires. Our second three month plan will be through Johns Hopkins, where we plan on having the surgery done. We only have to meet once a month there, so even though we have to travel a bit, I look forward to meeting with the folks I will be working with through this entire process!

So, here I am again, hopefully to stay this time.

well, thank goodness!!!!! it's wonderful to see you again. frankly, i was beginning to think that we scared you off!!! but, from your last few posts, one thing came out loud and clear: you had quite a bit of thinking to do. sooo, i crossed my fingers and hoped you were off thinking. AND YOU WERE!!!!
