hey everyone,

im new to this website and forum, ive been reading some posts and thought i would join. well i have just came to the realization that ive been overeating this past year and its catching up with me. I was always really small (between 110-120lb) i hit 140 and that was when i decided ok enough is enough but im still struggling. my main reason for overeating is my job! im a nanny and i love my job, i love the people i work for and the little boy but geez did it make me gain weight. for one, they wont let me take him anywhere since hes only 18 months and two its too hot where i live to take him for walks or do anything like that. all i do is eat when im here and im so tired of it. the last week i have been staying upstairs in his room (away from the kitchen) but of course when lunchtime hits im picking at something when im getting him lunch. does anyone have any advice?

Hi, I'm new here too, 3 days. I'm thinking about going to an OA meeting. I guess I really must have a problem with food, bc I'm an emotional eater and sometimes I just don't "say no"
