Default It's not all in my head!

Some of you may remember when I started my walking, I was in pretty serious pain. Legs were cramping during my walks and after. It seems I was in constant pain, but tried to work through it. I have been walking every day (DDR on 2 occasions due to rain and extreme humidity), and the pain has gotten better...but it's still there. I thought I was just such a cow I was never going to have an "easy" walk. But after a doctor appointment and some blood work, we found I have low magnesium. Apparently this causes muscle soreness/cramping/tenseness, sleep problems (which I have always had), tension headaches (which I get often), and a whole list of other issues. She said with a magnesium supplement and a couple weeks time, most of my problems should be much, much less. So I'm not just a cow who has sore legs! There was a reason for it all. It made me feel less crazy (and cow-like).

If you were dedicated enough to keep up with the exercise despite the pain due to the deficiency, you will be unstoppable once it's gone!
