Unhappy pay 4 extra weeks w/ bars?

I have been on LAWL now for almost a year. I've made goal and just finished phase 2. I'm in maintenace on first week and found this blog. I'm so happy there are others out there. I have struggled a long time.

Anyway, my LAWL made me pay for the extra WL weeks. I was in WL averaging only 1lb/week loss. Is this different at different centers? I bought into the bar program. I had enough bars to make it through WL but won't through maintenance. To get my money back, do I need to buy more bars now? Help....

The answer is in your contract. When I joined, the guarantee was provided if you bought the bars, meaning you didn't pay for extra WL weeks if you were doing the bars. But different CODs do different things, and the policy seems to be changing to a mandatory purchase of bars. But whatever your contract says is what controls. If you don't have your contract anymore, next time you go to the COD tell them you want to see it.

When I joined, I had to pay for each week, plus commit to the bars. It is a corporate owned LAWL so maybe that makes the difference.

Heck, I love the bars anyway!

My COD is corporate too, but I joined a year ago. We sort of discussed this on another thread and it seems that it varies even corporate v. corporate centers and franchises v. franchises.
