Black beans and rice P1
I was really at a loss at the beginning of P1, so maybe this will help a newbie or two. I was having a lazy, "I don't feel like cooking" day and dumped this together. It was so good that it's become a staple for me. The best part is that you adjust the quantities to suit your own tastes.
2 c. cooked brown rice
1 small can black beans (rinsed)
1/2 c. salsa
1/8 tsp cumin
1/8 tsp chili powder
Either combine all ingredients in a sucepan and heat through, or serve cold. Either way is equally good!
