Default weight requirement/doctor's note?

My daughter is 13, 5'3, and 136 lbs and she wants to lose some weight. Does she have to have a doctor's note? Also, is there a requirement weight-wise to be in the program because she technically is NOT that big. Thanks in advance!!!!!

If I remember correctly, you must be at least 5 pounds above your optimum weight, and have a doctors note for kiddos under 18. I'm thinking her goal would be about 115 or 120, so that works, but she would still need the note. Good luck!

Yes, you'd have to have a doctors note for any kids under 18 and if her own personal goal weight is above her targeted weight with what's set in the guideline charts then my leader said a doctor's note is also needed. Good luck to your daughter!
