You sound like you're doing great, actually. I'm trying to stick to right around 2000. In this, I went to a website (
www.foodfit.com) that did the old trick of figuring out how many calories I need to maintain my weight & subtracting 500. (I pretty much always choose "moderately active" while nursing.) The site also gives a fairly good meal plan, but I have issues with trying to substitute stuff out, so I only use it as a springboard right now.
