Hey ladies a real quick post!

Gayle...Flylady would be so proud of you and I am sure proud...Way to Clean...We are truly sisters in "grime". I need to do what you are doing. My whole bedroom needs a good cleaning and re-arranging. It was funny that you mentioned "spirited away", because my kids have the DVD. It is kind of creepy, and bazzar, but I liked the imaginative aspects of a girl being caught in a "spirit world". I wasn't impressed the first time I watched it, but I was busy and didn't get it. What I don't like is the Japanese animation style of drawing over-exaggerated expressions on the characters. Like, giving them huge mouth's when they are screaming, or a drop of sweat on their forhead when they are mad. Well, enough of my artistic preferences. I am just really glad that you posted and that you are in whirlwind of cleaning...YAEH FOR YOU!!!

Well, it is Friday and I have to finish up this bulk mail and get it to the post office. Plus my little woman Darcie will be calling any minute from school (they're coming back from camp). My poor Baby Filly has "hand, foot and mouth disease" or "hoof and mouth disease" as I call it. She has been running 102 fever for the last two days and both BJ and Lenny are home with her. The doctor said there is nothing she can do because it is viral, except give her tylanol for the fever. She is highly contagious...so what does my DD do, she calls me this morning and since her and DH are home, they are going to go x-mas shopping and take li' Fil with them. BJ did say that Fill's fever is down to 99, but still she should be out in public...can you believe it. I do understand though, BJ doesn't really have any time to shop without Tiffany, because she is at work all the time, so she has to seize the opertunity when it presents itself.

Hello Everyone, sorry that I have been mia for so long but I have been quite busy at work and when I have got home I haven't felt like using the computer. I am having on average 2 migraines a week and it is a bind. Last Saturday I should have gone to the theatre to see the Roy Orbison Story and I had to cancel because of a migraine. Then on Sunday we went to lunch with Ron's sister and I got the flashing lights that mean another one is coming on. Luckily this time I was able to take some tablets and sit quietly and it passed. It was worrying because I knew I had to drive home on the motorway. It is a nuisance to say the least that Ron can't drive. The fact that I got them at the weekend rules out that they are work related. I perhaps need some new glasses but I can't claim from my medical insurance until next June so I can't really afford any until then.
We had a fright with Eleanor the other day, I got a call saying that they had taken her to hospital. apparently her tongue had swollen, she couldn't breathe and she was passing out. She had been stock taking on the health and beauty section and they thought that she may have touched something,put her hand to her mouth and had an allergic reaction. Anyhow I rushed up to the hospital and by the time I got there she was much better. Her tongue had gone down but was sore and her glands were swollen and painful on one side. The doctor examined her and said he couldn't find any sign of allergies and thought that she had probably picked up some infection.. The ambulance man who had brought her to hospital said to me that he thought she was very run down. I think he may be right, on this new job she has to start at 6am so she is up at 5, she has been finishing work and rehearsing for her dance show (they are through to the semi finals by the way) plus her personal life has changed now that she has moved in with Steve. The hospital said she was to go to her own doctor if she still felt unwell so she went and the doctor just gave her some anti biotics and 6 months prescription for the birth pill without even taking her blood pressure!!!
Anyhow enough of my woes, I haven't addressed you all but I have read all the posts, I think weight wise we all seem to be having the same problems. I have put virtually all my weight back on and because I threw everything away when I lost the weight I had nothing to wear so I had to go and buy some new stuff but sometimes I buy things just because they fit and then hate them when I get them home.
Ron and I are going away for a few days. We are going on a "Turkey & Tinsel break" I don't know if you have them in the states. We go on Monday and when we get there we pretend it is Xmas Eve, Tuesday is Xmas Day, Wednesday is Boxing Day (something else pequliar to this country) and Thursdfay is New Years Eve. Then on Friday we come home and because of all the food that I have eaten none of my new clothes will fit me!!! Plus these things are for adults only so there are no kids tearing about. Peace and bliss. So I'll speak to you all next weekend love to all.

Hello everyone
We all seem to be in the same places with our weight. I went back to the Dr. Wed and I have gained 5lbs. I think a lot of it is fluid. The Dr. put me on celebrax and since I have been taking it I am having trouble breathing, feet and hands swelling. I had to take a fluid pill today. My chest and back has been hurting me and I am coughing and I hurt all over. My muscles hurt. He gave me an antibotic. 7 pills were $66 and they haven't helped so far.

Deb, how did I come up with the name tropicalfreeze. I couldn't come up with a name and I looked over and one of the kids had left a juice box on the table it was tropical punch so I was typing tropicalbreeze but when I had everything set up I had typed tropicalfreeze so I just left it that way. I hope little philly gets to feeling better soon. Hey I agree with Dana, you should apply for the position.

Gayle, I never got my card either. I have been trying to get my house cleaned up also. About the only way I can clean mine is if I get on my hands and knees. It doesn't hurt mu back so bad.
What good movies have you watched lately.

Dana, I hope your DH gets to go to his aunts funeral. What else is going on with you all. What plans do you have for Thanksgiving and xmas. I think we are going to moms I guess my DD#1 will be at her MIL she hasn't told us what she is going to do yet cause she is afraid to ask her DH. Are you still selling on ebay.

Daphne, how are you and when are you leaving for Cali. email me or before you leave.

I have been so busy trying to get all my medical records together and get my paper work done so I can hurry up and get it sent in and we have had 4 birthday parties this past week, mine was Nov. 3, my stepgrandaughters and my MIL"S WAS ON Nov. 5 and Amanda's 16th birthday was on Nov6 and my nephews is Nov8. Maybe that explains why I have gained 5lbs. What I weigh now is more than I have ever weighed. Hopefully soon things will slow down a bit and I can start posting and reading more of your post.

Mavis, I hope Eleanor gets to feeling better real soon.

Gayle that mean-ness must stop that yall are having to deal with. Besides that stuff, I just love reading your posts. It makes me wonder what I may have gotten accomplished each day if I had still been single?? What is foot and mouth disease exactly?? Well I will post more when I feel like it. I have been suffering with a bladder infection for 3 days and finally got antibiotics today. Not any relief yet though. Bladder is doing some kinda dance.

Deborah thanks for the call. See I am posting again. Let me see if it works grrrrrrrrrrrr. We are leaving for Cali. on Friday so I am busy packing and all that stuff. It will be a lot more fun this time being as I get to go to Mexico and shop and go to Vegas with Jason and no kids!
My weight is back up to 225 I just can't stop eating it seems. When I get back though I vow that I will be back on plan and walking each and every day. I am going to do the Slim Fast shakes for breakfast like I used to and then eat red meat just once a week like I used to. We have a deer at the butcher shop and it will be ready when we get back home in 2 weeks. I assume that deer is better than cow?
Deborah thank you so much for the call. It was my reminder to post today again. How is FIlly doing now? I can't belive that they took her out shopping and she was that sick. How did the Sisters visit go? Anything new on the Union talks?
Dana I am so sorry about that Bladder trouble that you are having. Is it period related? I just started mine and it is a normal one so I am thank ful for that. How is the walking going? I really am proud of you for doing all that walking. I hate the shin pains that you get but they do go away. It is just muscles that don't normally get used. As for warming up I never did. I was told not to that warming up can do more harm than good. I would just start out walking slow and then speed up. Well I was never that fast I would do a mile in like 18 minutes on the treadmill. Outside it was harder being as I had traffic to deal with. How are all the kids doing?
Gayle I am sorry for all the trouble that you have been going throught with that crazy person. I want to get inspired to clean like you have been doing. When will you start to decorate? I am decorating the day after we get back. I have been playing Christmas music as well.

Hey there, girls. Well, things seem to be calming down around here. That guy has moved out and the vandalism has stopped. They are changing the front door lock and the lock on his apt. door because he didn't turn in his keys. If he has the front door key, he could come in anytime he wanted. They are also going to beef up the parking lot security (cameras and motion sensor lights and maybe a guard for a while). They have a consultant coming in for a meeting. So, we are feeling safer.

Deborah, how is Filly? Tsk, tsk...that's what you get for going hog wild with the smilies!!!! Doesn't that just frost you???

Dana, how is the kidney thing? That must be awful. My dad got a couple of kidney infections and really suffered with them. I lost your address, email addy, and your telephone #. Could you email them to me?

Daph, I got the pic of Tony. Is that the girl you're not happy with? She looks cute. I've already started decorating! Well, just a tiny bit. The real decorating will be Thanksgiving week.

Ann, I missed your birthday, too. Sorry. Hope it was a happy one. What did you do? Does dh take you out to eat or anything?

I have the bedroom done as much as I can till I get rid of some of these clothes!!! I have all my suits hanging outside the closet ready to go to Dress for Success. I need to take them to the car. Now, it's on to the dining/living room. I am going to move furniture and sweep and dust everything. It's been a couple of years since I did the whole thing.

Well, I'm going to go and rest for a while. The back is hurting today. I think it's the weather as much as anything else. It's nice here today in the 60's, but some killer front is on it's way to cool things down and the wind is 'sposed to blow like crazy for a while!! Maybe even snow I hear.

Gayle i"m so glad things seem to be calming down in your neighborhood. That was really smart of that guy to take those keys. You and everyone else knew what he had planned to do with them. Wise for them to change those locks too. You are so funny using your "tsk" on deb. I don't mess with smileys that often to lose a post on that count. I usually use the quick reply function and I don't have many of the smiley commands memorized to do that. I wish I could make myself do just half the cleaning you do. My bladder stuff has calmed a bit. I just took my 7 out of 14 pills this morning. Yesterday I burned a lot throughout the day and to top it off, TOM of month started lastnight. I can't wait for the holiday decorating here. 2 weeks from today is thanksgiving so I will start that week as well. How's your weather today? It's very windy here with a high of 50 and a low tonight of 20 something. Brr. I did walk again today. First since monday but I don't know just yet if I will be walking in the freezing cold tomorrow.

Daphne i'm glad to hear from you. I will miss you while you're gone and hope you have a better time around the in-laws than in the past. Hope you have some time to enjoy yourself. How long did you say you would be gone? I did go walking today but missed last 2 days due to bladder trouble. It had been hurting to bad and it's done some good to let my legs rest a bit.

Let me tell you some of my ebay troubles. You post feedback based on your transaction like if you had great success or any trouble. Well I have 3 neg's now from 1 buyer. Absolutely rude if you ask me. I had like 8 auctions going for bags of tri-beads. My auctions said approx. 1000 beads each. Some i had actually counted and some not. I just packaged them to look the same in weight and size. Well one comment from him said that I only had 700 & something in one and that I sent it to him "postage due". Well he got that one first. When I mailed it, I had gotten some stamps back as change because I wanted them. Then we put stamps on it to pay for it. It was mailed at the PO and they told me to put 4 stamps to cover it. Well he said that I was a few cents short (the buyer). So after that, I told him that the auction stated approx 1000 to indicate that there was more than 100 in there. So when he got the last 2 he posted neg's again and said the same thing. I know for a fact he shouldn't have paid more postage cause they were shipped from PO and no stamps were used. He said one of those had 998 beads. I could just spit on him for ruining my perfect feedback record. Then I get an email today from a girl waiting on a package that I just mailed yesterday. First available day to mail so she's pissed. i can't help it when the M/O got here. Otherwise ebay has helped me get rid of a lot of stuff & I've bought a few new things from there as well.

I weighed yesterday and lost 1 1/2 pounds this past week. I was happy to see it came down after 2 weeks of it climbing a bit.

Ann have you gotten your paper work finished yet? Yes my DH went to that funeral and visitation with no problem. He was glad it was over when it was and that everything went well at both. I was reading daphne's post of your girls names and isn't one alicia? I remember all A's. Was that planned to work out that way with your name starting with an A? I know that's not your whole name. What is your DH's first name? Is it Al or Arthur or Adam?? I couldn't be that name coordinated although I've often thought if I had another baby if I could name it a B name to even up score. For your DD #1 and thanksgiving, we split our family up cause we have families that don't understand for the most part. My MIL cook for her whole side and my grandma who lives up behind me does for a smaller group. It's easier to get around up there. I will probably take laken and brett and he can take logan to that big crowd over there. Before we had kids which was only for 1 year, we cooked for ourself. It was too funny. We had the works though.

Deb what do you guys do for thanksgiving? Who cooks it and where is it?? How is filly and what exactly is hoof and mouth disease? I don't think I've ever heard of that over here. Have you started back walking yet?

Mavis we can get birth control over here without a blood pressure check. I'm on them now after 8 years of another type and they didn't check me this time for it. Does eleanor typically have trouble with her BP? How is she doing now? That turkey and tinsel thing sounds really neat. I tend to pretend it's the holidays pretty often here. When do you put up a tree? I hope your headaches have stopped. I don't get migraines that often but even the milder ones are a burden.

Well I better post this before I lose it. I have gotten into habit to highlight and copy just in case I lose them but it's not because of smileys Deb.

Oh ya, and for Thanksgiving...I think me and the kids are going down to BJ's. Either we will go the night before and I will help her cook or I will do some cooking at home and bring the food down. We haven't worked out all the plans we have been to busy worrying about Ray's and Darcie's Birthday. Did I meantion that BJ and Adrian are renting out a resteraunt for Ray's 50th...it is a little Mexican eaterly.

Daphne I hope that you got to go on that outing with your SIL. Do you see her often or get along with her? It's nice for you to have some time away from everyone and to relax like that too. I've never had a facial. In fact I would probably be to afraid for someone to see me under the make up.

I'm back, I paused to pop logan on the butt with a belt. Caught him totally surprised too. I'm really tired of the two of them fighting one moment and then acting totally stupid and loud the way they do. I couldn't pass up that opportunity. Kevin goes on first shift on nov. 30th. I can't wait! He will be here when they get home from school part of the time and the other time he comes home at 7 pm so he can make them go to bed earlier, do better on homework and study. Not too mention, MIND!!!

Well there's really nothing going on here. I've pretty much listened to christmas music all day and been online most of it.. SHHHH don't tell nobody. Kevin is working. It's been kinda cool here today and christmas is in the air- well almost anyway. Well I hope everyone is having a well deserved relaxed weekend. I need to shower and shave soon and wash laken's hair. Don't like to do all that before church in the morning.
