Rennie, yay on the .4 down and the walking! Great job!

I just walk 1-2 miles because if I walk more, my knees swell and I'm pretty useless the next day. But I got my walk in tonight, 1.5 miles, so that's good!

You know, I am just the opposite of you when it comes to sweets. You seem to be a chips snacker, and I am a sweets snacker! Splenda is just b-a-r-e-l-y sweet enough for me in my hot green tea, lol! And oh my, give me an ice cold glass of Southern sweet tea any day (on any cheat day, that is, haha)! Yum!
Pamela, congrats on being 1.8 lbs down!

That's great! You know, you had been doing another diet (was it WW?) before this, and I imagine when you started that, you dropped the initial water weight that people tend to lose on diets. After that initial drop, the body burns fat, and it can really only burn up to about 2 lbs of fat per week, so you did fantastic this week!

And I can't wait to see what you've chosen for your cheat day foods, lol!

Oh and I use butter to cook. And the only cheese I eat is cottage cheese and a sprinkle of shredded mild cheddar on my salads (and omelets when I have them).
Gary, in
The Four-Hour Body, the main diet Tim Ferriss promotes is the Slow Carb Diet, but he also mentions some other diets: Intermittent Fasting, Protein Cycling, and Primarily Plant-Based Diet (
http://www.chewfo.com/diets/the-4-ho...oid-food-list/). It sure seems to me that Carb Cycling would fit right in as a good alternative!
Missy, woohoo on the .6 drop!

And yes, I feel so much better eating slow carb. I mean, I'm always happy to see cheat day roll around because I LOVE my sweets, but I just can't eat like that everyday, yet before I started the Slow Carb Diet, that's exactly what I was doing!

Btw, your meals look great!
