  • I did not realize we needed to weigh in. I'm such a dork!

    I was up today 2.6 pounds 230.6

    It's that time of the month, so I'm hoping that's all it is.

  • Hi Jordanna..WI #2 is dwn 4 pounds..Im at 230..so excited the scale is moving again
  • Official WI #2, down 2.8 lbs! Also down another 6.5 inches over-all, bringing my total lbs lost to 9.3, and total inches lost to 15!!! I feel like I'm melting away, hehe!

  • NSV: My wedding ring fell off today (!) don't worry, I caught it, and put it away until I can decide on a final size -- or put some tape on it.

    Generally, how many times a week do you have red meat? I was trying to keep it to none, once or twice, but I'm really sick of fish & chicken. I looked longingly at the red meat section of the grocery store tonight.

    Also, is there a way to search recipes & I just don't get it?

    I eat red meat when I want it. I am not much of a meat eater though so it is not often. I find I want something red most often near my TOM.

    It is hard to search the recipes. I wish I could explain how. The best thing I can say is.

    go to the main page of Ideal Protein forum, where the stickies are.

    click on the recipe thread to enter

    at the top right of the thread page are three options, one in the middle says search, click there

    then click advance search

    type in your key word

    and MOST of what you need will come up. It isn't fool proof. Somethings I know to exist don't always show and I think it is because the heading doesn't say what the post body is about.

    Today is my 3rd Wedding Anniversary. It was my goal to have lost 35 lbs, but I'm hanging around 33 lbs... oh well, still close. Not to mention that this is pretty darn close to what I weighed the day we got married!

    Jessica, I've had beef twice, I just cut it into bite size pieces, place them in a hot non-stick skillet, after seasoning with some Ms. Dash (and salt as desired), and depending on how well you like yours (like mine medium) flip after about 1.5/2 minutes, cook on the other side until they look done, and remove from heat. Then I toss in just a dash of olive oil for that extra flavor, and I add to my salad (or eat separate, your choice!) -- good luck!
