  • well girls we went from last to 7th!! Woot! we ere actually 5th for the week but 7th overall! this is last the last week, lets finish strong!

    I was wondering of someone else didnt mind reporting the numbers to the main thread, ill be moving back home on Monday and im going to be on a plane, so i wont be able to post them if people weigh in later on in the day
  • i can report everyones numbers on monday. someone is making grilled cheese in my office and it smells so good i need to leave. or i might attack them and steal their food haha

  • I took a peak at the scale, and I am down so far. Let's hope it stick until monday! although I am going to 2 parties before monday! One at my work tomorrow and one at this fancy house on saturday! I will try to eat less in the morning so I have more calories at night for the party on saturday

  • Hey girls! I am finally back to 3FC after a brief hiatus due to my finals week, hehe. I stayed on-plan as best as I could amid the stress of finals, but I will confess that last night I went out for a "celebratory" dinner with a friend, and I wasn't exactly paying attention to the calories! Today was kind of an interesting day, foodwise... I was riding the Megabus home from 12:00-7:30 AM (yes, that's right, AM!), and didn't get any sleep whatsoever, so when I finally got home I pretty much collapsed! I slept until around 5 PM before I finally got up, and since then I've only had an apple and a normal, healthy dinner. I'm really proud of myself for not bringing any "snacks" (i.e. junk!) for the bus ride--in the past I would have taken chips or candy or something with me, but not this time! I was even considering taking a Luna or Nutrigrain bar, but I was like, No, you just had that huge dinner; you don't need a "snack"! LOL.

    I haven't unpacked any of my stuff yet, so I didn't get a chance to do my usual Friday weigh-in... I'll probably check my weight tomorrow though, so I'll let you gals know how it goes. Honestly I have no idea what to expect, with the screwy habits I've been having for the past few days! Hehe. Good luck to all you ladies with staying on-plan this weekend! We can do it!

    So how have you all been this week? I certainly hope all of us Gold Team members have been behaving, hehe. I got to go grocery shopping today, so now I'm really looking forward to planning my meals while I'm home for Christmas... The next three weeks are going to be a bit of a challenge, but I know I can do it! Though my stomach is acting a little funny--I can't tell if I'm hungry or not! I haven't eaten very much so far today, and I know I should eat more, but my stomach doesn't feel empty or grumbly or any of the usual "hungry" symptoms... I'm worried that if I do eat something, I'll feel like I'm going to burst! Haha. I think it's cuz I'm on a weird sleeping schedule, so maybe I'll feel hungrier in few more hours. Hope so!
  • Meredith: you could try eating an apple. Apples are supposed to be good for starting up your appetite and getting your body ready to eat.

    I have done good this week I think. I think I have finally lost my thanksgiving/TOM weight. In fact, I know I have because I looked at the scale.

    I am going to a work party tonight. I'm pretty excited about it. It will definitely be a strange feeling getting buzzed off alcohol with all of my co-workers including my two bosses and my professors!! They should have a ton of good food. I was soooo mad because I went to Safeway to get some strawberries and low fat chocolate to take (chocolate covered strawberries), and they didn't have the chocolate, so I had to buy a big ol' tub of same lame o potato salad...oh well!
  • ive been doing pretty good, im moving back home monday and im scared of what its going to be like after that, i have acess to a few diffrent machines where i am now,oh well ill make it work!
  • vdaybaby - Oooh, you shouldn't have suggested that, cuz I LOVE apples! Lol I'll take any excuse to have one... But actually, it ended up being fine because I did get hungry a couple hours later, and I had a regular dinner. How was the office party? Hope you had fun! Bummer that you couln't make the chocolate-covered strawberries; they sound sooo yummy. But I guess it's better that you didn't have them around to tempt you, haha.

    luvmyinnerdemon - Good luck with moving! And with sticking to your healthy habits in a new place. I can kinda, somewhat relate cuz of my situation of being at home for the next 3 weeks (I'm on Winter break from school). I feel like I just keep on talking about this, haha, but I AM a little worried about how I'm going to get my exercise when it's not built-in from having to walk to class every day, LOL. It sounds like your situation is a little more complicated, but like you said, you'll make it work! You go, girl!

    I am feeling gooood today, ladies. Kind of... Skinny! I really want to take a little peek at my weight today, because I feel like I've had a loss--I really hope I've gotten rid of any weight I might have gained from finals week. I'll try to pull a good number for you ladies!
  • GAAAARRRRRHHHH!!!! 212.2 again today on the scale, 4 days in a row at that precise weight, its driving me crazy. i actually laughed to myself this morning.
