Ok, new rant. What's with those stupid car makers and the lights? They are making the headlights brighter and brighter. I don't think it does much for improving things for the driver but it's sure starting to blind the heck out of drivers in the opposite direction heading towards them. And if that wasn't bad enough, I noticed they are changing the red taillights. No longer one bulb but now a series of smaller "dots" that apparently are easier to detect? (Still don't work for someone who's color blind). Tonight I was coming home from work and was stopped at a red light. Was zoned out like usual and found myself staring at the tail lights of the car in front of me. A new car, with 3 rows of these individual lights. When the light changed and I looked forward, I had the negative image of the 3 rows of lights obscuring my vision for what appeared to be a couple of minutes. You can't really "blink" them away. I thought - now that's downright DANGEROUS. Just to prove otherwise, at the next light I stared at the tail lights of a car with a typical single bulb. Sure enough, no negative image on the eye balls.
Training was ok today. Tomorrow and the rest of the week is a bloody early start for the test lab (those of us NOT early morning songbirds were complaining). Particularly since this is the last week of testing, we were warned it might involve some late nights. This means forcing myself to an early to bed, early to rise, 5:30am wake up call.

I yearn for the day when I can say

the corporate life. I secretly envy those who stay home. So you may not hear much from me this week and if you do, it might not be coherent.
Tonight I made u[ a batch of Olive Garden's Zuppa Tuscano soup.

with some crusty Italian bread, can you say yum?
Linus, you are always welcome back here and we will always be here for you. I am sorry to hear that CJ is **** bent on not giving you a moment's rest, even after all this time. Please try and sneak a minute in when you can - I've missed you!
I agree Carla. Some of those suggestions on the website were a bit over the top but I had no way to edit it and was hoping that something will give you relief. I had not realized that the little stinkers were quite so germy.
Ceejay - menopause and thyroid - the old one-two punch. I know it well. I think there are major issues with sugar and being hypothyroid. I find that going low fat is not that difficult but giving up sugar is really hard. Really,
really hard.
One of my favorite songs Meadow. Thanks for the lyrics. Will bibbdy bobbity boo the kitchen before I crash into bed.
Are you hiding from the old battleax Shad? I was thinking of you all during training today. I am a designated Power User - apparently they have no idea of my multitude of talents in the testing arena
9pm. Means I have 30 minutes to clean the kitchen and get off to bed. Night all. Probably won't be back here until the evening. Enjoy your Tuesday. Hey y'all to the rest of the worldly chicks.
