We're hoping to do the Hot Rod Power Tour this summer...still trying to get a few more things to line up before making the final commitment. This is my sisters car that they show and take on the tour. Believe it or not the 56 chevy is a tornado survivor... the Lexus that was sitting next to it in the garage was not. The house was totally gone too. But all the family made it fine. I was just being goofy in my "spring hat" cause someone said I needed to wear a floppy hat in the convertible!! LOL

We looked at so many cars before we decided to get the Allante. And several corvettes too. But we really wanted to get a decent classic for a decent price without it needing a whole lot of work. Plus, a reason we decided to not go with a corvette is if we are doing power tours we have no room for the puppies and no room for any luggage. Even being gone just a week we still need stuff..... so went for this instead.

I would have got the corvette and sent the luggage and puppies by Fedex.

One of the strangest things about the so-called Land Of The Free is that in some jolly states, such as mine in Maryland, it is illegal to send or receive alcohol by mail. You heard me.

Freedom? Nope. Bring back the Queen. In England you can buy whisky at a gas station on a Sunday morning.

Now that is freedom!
