Hi *BRENDA*
Good to see you...
I have a schedule very much like Cathy's (only I don't have a job outside our home). I set everything out the night before and I am usually heading for bed by 9:30 and in bed by 10pm... I naturally am awake by 4:30/4:45am --- our alarm doesn't go off till 5:30/6, so if I over sleep I have that. But most times I am up. I like to get my workouts in before my hubby is up, so when he gets up I can enjoy a cup of coffee with him and fix his lunch for him and have chat time. There's not much chatting at night when he comes home, he's so tired... especially after working in the heat we've had these days.
Here's a little tid-bit: I read that if you workout in the mornings you burn more calories and fat then in the evenings --- because you have a full days intake of calories in you when you workout at night, so the body begins to burn that first, but in the morning you have digested all of the calories from the day before, therefore burning more of the stored fat and calories.
I don't know how you work out at night and still sleep well either??? I couldn't. When I use to work for Jazzercise as a registrar I would sometimes workout at 7pm, but just could not fall asleep at night when I got home --- sometimes by 1 or 2am I would finally go to sleep I would be so wound up. I sure couldn't do that today...
I'm wishing you well in trying to decide what to do.

Your schedule and meals sound just fine... so many starve and think they will lose weight that way, so I just thought I'd make a mention. I too watch all processed foods. Many do not realized that they are linked to most, if not all, heart attacks and strokes today. And so much of what is on the shelves (& in the store freezers) have it (Hydrogenated & Partially Hydrogenated Oils). I saw this whole program on Discovery Health about it years before it hit the news! So by the time it made the papers and articles in mags. my girlfriend & I were already watching not to buy foods with the processing in the ingred. label at the grocery.
I look forward to seeing more of your wedding pictures
Why are you on sleeping meds, Mel?? Are you not sleeping well at night? I bet it is so hard when you have children... to get that nights sleep you so need. I do hope you begin to feel better real soon! And are able to get a good nights sleep - it makes a world of difference.

I must be going... Joe is home and hungry (me too
).
I am making turkey burgers, tossed balsamic salad, steamed veggies & a baked potatoe for him... simple, but tasty
TTFN...

It's awful that people sometimes think that by starving themselves, they can attain their goal weight. But in fact, the body then goes into starvation-mode and stores everything as fat. I found this out at a very young age. This time around, I just want to eat healthy.
Ah well... at least I'd be getting to bed at a decent hour!
Talk to you girls tomorrow. Hope you're all keeping well!
. If you can offer any encouragement
, please do....I enjoy walking and look forward to it everyday. I walk 6 days a week for 30-55 minutes.
next year, and I want to get rid of the weight I have now before I add more on. I eat 3 meals a day along with 2 snacks (no bread, sweets, fast food, or fried anything). I drink so much water I hear the ocean in my ears when I sit down and stand up
but would have been screaming my head off it I had realized that my cat buried the bat in my pants!!!
We still don't know what we are hearing and the rains haven't let up enough to go investigate thoroughly --- so we just wait.
love and want to hear all about him
and a great friend to everyone here, our little
Cheerleader
I know I am doing so well because of you all. Thank you so much!
