Well, I guess I nearly ate myself into oblivion these past 3 days. It's not gonna look good on that scales when Thursday rolls around and I go to WW.
I have no excuses either. I was just plain lazy.
I got stir crazy yesterday and went shopping at a book store.
I haven't done that in a long time.
I got the hard cover copy of the Curves book, a hard cover of SIMPLE ABUNDANCE,(HIGHLY recommend it!) no woman should be without it, and the latest book by Jean M. Auel, the author of the CLAN OF THE CAVE BEAR series. I got the hard cover copy for $8.00 because it has a little ding or "hurt" as they call it, on the bottom edge of the cover. THE SHELTERS OF STONE.
I put a couple of things on my desktop, just for a little reminder each day.
The BMI thing, and a list of 10 'toxic weight' prevention tips, also an exercise routine for each day of the week so I keep it varied and hopefully avoid burn-out.
Visitation for Dawn is tonight and the funeral is tomorrow. Not looking forward to that.
I slept in this morning, so I'm behind schedule and I better get a move on.
Sue, congratulations on your win at the track! I went gambling a few months ago and had fun all day, winning then losing, but I pretty much broke even by the end of the day. It's fun once in a while, but I work with some people who go several times a week. I don't think I could get into it that much. They always tell that they won, but never tell how much they spend to win that much.
Sheila, did you get your painting done? I should have forced myself out into the yard and done some work out there this weekend, but, I was just sooo lazy. No gumption at all. That rose bush is still calling my name, and I dread getting started on it.
The party was just a normal, loud, college students party. No harm done. And after I go to bed, the sounds kind of get muffled by the hum of my CPAP machine. If they wake me up though, then I get on the phone to the cops. I remember what it was like to be young, and I sure did my share of partying, but they need to respect other peoples right to rest too.
I'm hoping for good luck to your son on finding a job.
How did the steaks turn out?
I was on a sugar binge all day yesterday.
Isn't it funny how when we've been out of control for a few days, we are actually glad to get back to healthy eating? I always have said that it feels like I've been poisoning myself.
Charlotte, I'm glad you had such a good time with the little ones. Aren't they just the greatest though?
And cool that you got a lot of work done on the house! Maybe you'll be "liveable" before winter after all.

I sure hope so.
Oh gosh! That's so scarey about your son-in-law! I pray he and every one of our men and women over there and around the world come home safely. This is so awful, as all wars are. But, it's a new kind of war, and not easy to fight.
Well I need to get moving here.
Puss, I hope all is well with you.
Take care all! Later!
