I weighed myself this morning. Down 2lbs. Which puts me right back at my STARTING weight just over 6 weeks ago. I feel kinda depressed about this...although I know I'm smaller, fitter, more muscular and less fatty, my clothes are looser - I'd say I'm almost down a dress size.

I didn't have a great day for food yesterday, but mostly I've been doing pretty well. I havent' been working the Paul McKenna program as well as I should (i.e. the visualisations and mental exercises) but I'm recommitting myself today. I do feel i'm eating much more consciously...and I feel much more in control of my food. I still have trouble stopping when I'm FULL at meal times. But I am only eating when I'm hungry instead of boredom or emotional snacking.

I finished week 3 of Couch to 5K on Friday and I'm going to start week 4 today. I've been working in more resistance training and although I didn't go to yoga as much as I would have liked this week, I've really been making progress in my stamina and positions.

    Oh...and I havent' smoked in 2 months!!!
  • Awww well done hunny!! At least you're seeing the difference with your clothes, I hope it gives you the inspiration to keep going. Remember muscle weighs more than fat!! KEEP GOING!!

And the fact you've given up smoking whilst doing all this, is amaze-balls!! I'm not going to quit until I'm stuck in the eating good and exercising routine. One thing at a time I say. Planning to quit after the new year. Gives me plenty of time to get stuck in and focus.

You may have had a bad day yesterday, but as well all say "Don't beat yourself up, start afresh the next day". Best words of advice I've received yet!!

Good luck for the next week hun, and keep up the great work
  • Also before I forget, weighing myself properly for the first time tomorrow, so I've cleared my entry for the time being on the spreadsheet. I CAN'T WAIT!!
  • Have a grumpy littleone with colic so cant read all post to castch up, but hope evryone is doing well. I stayed the same this week.

    xxxx
  • Hi fellow UK girlies. I haven't posted on this thread before but just want to share that I have lost 4lbs so far (started just over a week ago). A long way to go but feeling rather proud and have been coping with the daily exercise pretty well so far

Hope everyone else is doing well!
  • Welcome 1987 and well done!
  • URGH! I'm crawling back in here after a fabulous day at my mates wedding on Sat, followed by a day with my head in the toilet followed by an evening of over eating to get over it yesterday!

I'll add my Sat morning weight to the chart, which was exactly the same as last week. I'm happy with that given my biscuit suppers over last week! Was down 1.5lb on that this morning, but that is likely not for real given the amount of puking I did yesterday!

Will be back to catch up properly later, must get my head on it and do some work now, in uni and so far just playing on the computer. Naughty me!
  • TC I'm not sure whether to congratulate or not on that loss since it's from puking tbh! Make sure you rehydrate and take it easy for a bit hey?

Yay I get to log in with another loss 0.6lb down this week, might not sound like much but for me it's big!

Get to change my ticker too now I'm at 141.2. That's legitimately in the 141s now I think
  • WOO!! Got my wii and wii fit board. weighed myself and A LOT lighter than i thought I was... must have lost some weight and over compensated on my estimation since me doctors visit for my ears. Officially Starting TODAY on the spreadsheet!! WOO!!

Motivation is at an all time high!!
  • Hi
I've just added myself to the spreadsheet. Hope that's ok. Need to keep motivated and on track. Hope everyone has had a good week.
  • Its okay AlmostMe I've regained a bit twice but as long as you keep going you'll be just fine

    Where is the spreadsheet?
  • swissy - there's a link for it on the 1st page of this thread.
  • Hi everyone! Hope you've all had a great weekend and very pleasing weigh-ins. Been reallyyy strapped for time lately so haven't weighed in yet (haven't been too good either ). Also haven't had time to go on my first C25K run I know I know, I should make time, but I really just haven't stopped all weekend! Looking forward to making my first post on that C25K thread though!

Have a wonderful week UK chicks!
  • Well, official wi yesterday and I've maintained. A good thing I suppose but I'm really finding it a battle to lose now. Going back to basics this week and pinching a little of Lozz's enthusiasm!

    Welcome everyone joining the challenge!
  • Elliemar - Don't push yourself too hard to lose those final few lbs. You're so close I bet you can smell it. Take all the enthusiasm you need lol

I feel like poo today. I walked what felt like miles yesterday picking up my Wii. Now AF is late, I'm NOT preggers, mainly because we haven't been able to do "it (long story). That's one of the reasons why I've taken this challenge on.

I can feel it coming... *sniggers* but seriously my back is tight, appetite has gone, but forced myself to have brekkie and grilled chops tonight with jacket spuds and phili light and a few veggies... mmmmm.... okay.. now i'm hungry... AAARGH!!
See, i don't know if i'm coming or going!!! after my dog walk and a little more Wii tonight I'll be having a nice hot bath and maybe a back rub... AGAIN!!

The next week or so is gonna be my toughest so far. But you know what?! F*** IT!!
