  • I got under 200 in June, now back to 210. I will make it below and stay below this time.

    SW: 224.2 (8/21)
    8/28: 222.8
    9/5: 221.0

    CW: 213.4
    GOAL: 199.8
  • I've had a real set back this morning

I made my mind up that I'd weigh myself every Monday.
Last week I thought I weighed 253 - which was really disappointing, anyway - but, this morning, I got on the scales & it looked like I'd either, stayed the same, or maybe lost like a pound or so. I decided to get off & get on again, after moving them away from the window a bit. This time I'd actually gained about 10 pounds!! I nearly died

I'm not going to panic, though. I conclude, from this experiment, that I could probably do with some new scales Anyhow, I'll order some, online straight away. I'm just going to have to wait & see what I really weigh .... (There's no way I'm going out to weigh myself in public, I'd rather stick pins in my eyes, than do that!!!)

I will, in the meantime, carry on & stick to the plan ....

  • Way to go April! And here I thought I was getting close to catching up with you.

Gissy if you get a new scale or not it's a good idea to always weigh in the same spot on a flat surface. Definitely not on carpet and even moving the scale on a flat surface can change the reading because of dips and things. My scale is in the bathroom and I always weight in the exact same spot. =)
  • Good morning ladies,

WOW April - You had an awesome week!!! You will be in onederland before you know it. Keep up the great work!

Gissy - I'd definately not go by those scales. Sounds like they're a bit off.

Kim - Girl you are doing an awesome job! You will be at onederland soon too. I can't let you ladies leave me behind in the 200s.

    Onederland here we come!!!
  • Way to go April!

Gissy- I say it's the scales. Either way, stick with it.

I so have my sights set on 220 right now.
  • You can do it Thinsole. I hope you make 220 soon.

The scale is still holding between 213-214 for me. I'm so ready for another drop.

    Have a great day everyone.
  • Morning everyone!

Life has been kinda hectic. Trying to get daughter motivated and she's starting to visit some potential colleges and stuff. Then of course all the new tv shows are back on. But still doing OP with my eating and exercising even though I did skip yesterday. The scale seems to be stuck however! I've been hovering around 228-229 for the past 2 weeks and I'm ready to see some movement there again!
  • Give it time geauxgirl. I hate hate hate plateaus but they are a necessary evil. It'll give eventually just stick with it!
  • Hello ladies,

I hope everyone is doing good and staying OP!

Geaux - I'm stuck at 213 too. I keep hoping to see 212 but it hasn't happened yet. I'm trying to be patient. I upped my exercise and the weight loss slowed so I'm guessing/hoping it's the muscles I'm building. We just have to hang in there and give it time as Thinsole said.

    Have a great day everyone.
  • So true, so true! Thats the good thing (I guess) about plateaus.. that feeling you get when you break through them!
  • Seeing progress is great. Finally in the 230s
  • Great job Shakaboo!!

Geaux - Hang in there. You are going to have a drop soon. I'm not on a plateau but it's just that I've only lost 1.4 in the last 2 weeks and I was hoping for more since I have so much to lose. I'm going to hang in there too and I know I'm bound to have a big drop eventually.
  • 3 lbs closer to Onederland this week, just over 10 lbs now!
  • Way to go Shakaboo!

Congrats April on your 3 lb lost! We can make it to onderland!

Geaux and Gettingfit- Good luck on breaking through your slow spells. I know you guys can do it!

Today was my weigh in day and I lost 4.4 pounds! Now officially out of the 220s! Whoo hoo! 18.4 pounds till Onderland!
