Hmmm, if Rick wanted to eat out I'd be at a sushi restaurant for sure. I can eat it everyday and for a while there I actually was. Fresh raw fish is a big thing in Hawaii since it's so plentiful. We also cut it up into bite-sized chunks, mix it w/a little sesame oil or soy sauce with round onion, sesame seeds, chili pepper and fresh seaweed--it's called poke (pronounced poh-keh) .
We don't have an Applebee's or an Olive Garden here

or on any island for that matter. A few years back there may have been one on Maui, but I don't think it's there anymore (if there ever was one). Hey you can do Mexican if you stick with fajitas and leave out the sour cream and cheese and stuff and skip the chips and salsa...but then again, what's Mexican food without all that good stuff? Sorry, I'm not being helpful am i? Here we go again, dwelling on food. Well, it's a necessity of life right? And it's better to think about it than not and eat a lot of cr@p.
