Haley; Michigan is GORGEOUS. The best state there is as far as gorgeous-wise, in my own biased opinion. But yes, it does get cold in the winter. I never remembered getting too cold in the winter when I lived downstate, but now I'm at school in the UP and it tends to get down to the -45 windchill in the winter. This winter was warm though, I think we didn't surpass -20 and it was only a couple days. Spring came a whole month early!
Jazzang; I like to use Sparkpeople to keep accountable with my food intake. It also helps because I'm starting to learn what kind of nutrients and how many calories all the foods are so I don't have to enter it anymore and can just think about it in my head. It REALLY helps me.
Jess; Hm... I don't eat any of those products, but I have been wondering too. Have a bit more income now that my car is paid off, and I'd like to try changing out some of my food for organic. I'd also like to try almond milk. And ALSO! I read the last couple days of your blog and it's great! I tried subscribing to it and I think I subscribed like 4 times or something, sorry... lol. I'm horrible with computers. Anyway, I got something that it pops up in my bookmarks now.

Your running motivates me. I want to keep running.

Oooh... I'm going to see about getting a membership to the YMCA. The Y is more expensive than our student gym on campus, BUT, I can apply for a discounted membership because I don't make much money. My coworker only has to pay $11 per month, and she is a full time worker and makes more than me as a part time, so I think I could expect less than that if I applied for it. Hm. And one of my friends from work said that she would learn how to use the gym equipment with me!
Well, long story short about grandma here is that she did pass away yesterday, but she was back in her home and not the hospital, and she was happy. So I don't know when the funeral will be yet but they said probably Monday or Tuesday. I work today and tomorrow so I'll drive downstate Sunday (which yay is also my birthday), and then probably back up Tuesday or Wednesday. It is very sad, but also simply relieving that she is not in pain and full of tubes. I think if my body was ready to go like that, I would be too. I'm super worried about my aunt though, because her mom was her best friend, and pretty much only friend. She already struggles with depression and is gonna have a major hard time, so I'm gonna try and keep close in touch with her. Ugh. I'll try and stop talking about dying, but it's just been so close to home with me the last couple of years. First my dad, then a couple uncles, an aunt, and now grandma. This is one of the reasons that I want to get healthy. Grandma's death was pretty unpreventable because she lived very healthy and didn't ask for the cancer, but all the other deaths were related to heart conditions caused by obesity and drinking, and smoking related cancers.
Time to get HEALTHY!
