Julee: I have never been to Old Navy. I guess I will have to try it soon. I do like Torid though. I found a dress there that is sooo cute. I didn't buy it though because it was $48 and not one that I could wear to work. Have to be thrifty. lol. Sounds like you made a delicious crock pot meal. I love the crock pot but have never done a chicken in it.

I went to Costco today and then to the grocery store. We were out of so many things. It is nice to be stocked up again. lol. I then came home and went for a nice long ride on my bike. I stopped by a quicky mart and bought a lottery ticket, the scratch off kind and won $48. That was nice.

I am drunk. Someone came over to celebrate the sale of 3000. He brought wine. It only takes 176 calories of wine to make me lose the feeling in my legs. I don't know how someone so large could be such a lightweight.

Annie- I agree about the dress...that was money you didn't have before, so why not if it will make you feel good? Of course I can rationalize ANYTHING if I want it bad enough!

DMPLS- good luck on quitting! I'm a smoker and try to convince myself that it's ok because I only have a few a day...but it's not. I just feel like I'm not ready to commit to it yet. Maybe I should just force myself to do it, but I feel like if I'm admitting to myself that I probably won't stick to it, that's a sign that I'm not ready...or just setting myself up for failure, and either way is no bueno. To tell the truth I've no idea why I like it so much. Something to do with my hands, maybe, but also it's a social thing for me. I've got my group of smoker friends at work and we all go out together for our smoke break. I have a feeling that if they all quit too I'd be ok for the most part! Maybe I should have a talk with them.

I haven't been doing as well with my water today...only have about 30 oz in so far and it's 10:50p. But I will be up until about 3-4a anyway (I don't get home until 1a) so I still have time. My throat hurts today and that's probably why I've been slacking- it hurts to swallow.

Saw the Dark Knight Tuesday...what a great movie! Now I'm thinking I might have already posted about this...forgive me if that is the case!

Has anyone tried the WW zero-points Vegetable soup? I picked up the stuff to make it this morning and planning on making tomorrow. Just wondering what you think. I was talking to a woman my mom works with who is basically a WW guru and she said "if you make that soup I guarantee you will lose weight". This was after I left my weigh-in bummed about only having lost a pound. *Hope she's right!*

Catherine, I'm a lightweight too! I can count on one hand the number of drinks I've had in the last 5 years. I'm just not much of a drinker. I have a hard time letting go of that control. Congrats on 3,000! And I'm so glad you're back on track. Onward and downward!

Realist, I have a hard time doing personals too. By the time I get around to them, I'm usually a few days behind (or more), and I feel like anything I say has already been hashed out. Congrats on the 100 miles!

DMPLS, good luck on quitting! You can do it! Have you considered trying Chantix? You can get a voucher from the American Heart Association for I believe the first 6 months or something. That's the only way my mom was able to kick her 40+ year habit.

Nancy, yep, XH and I separated and he is now living with his mom in KS. It sucks being stuck with the debt, but realistically it is giving me incentive to get off my butt and make some good habits stick, and get rid of the bad habits. I'm young enough that it won't ruin me, but it will be hard for a while. Hope your weekend with BF and his son goes well!

Well smoke that last sig last night.......and caved in today......bought a pack but with the huge day I had today.......i've only smoked 6 or 7 cigs..........but really truly that's about how many I smoked anyway..........not sure where my will power is for sticking to my guns........DH did the same thing too LOL tomorrow is a new day!

took my girls down to the college turned in paperwork for oldest DD, went to lunch with oldest DS (he paid!) and then hit the mall! Ended up getting youngest DD 5 pairs of pants and around 7 or 8 tops........still have to get some of the underclothing and paper supplies but other than that she is set pretty nicely for the start of school.

Walked a TON today! the campus is very spread out and lots of hills.......they are called the Hilltoppers LOL anyhow my calves are sore right now from all the uphill walking and stairs! Plus the mall walking too!

Ok so I wanted to tell you all something funny that I did this morning.........the girls have been telling everyone that will listen and I actually LOL everytime they remind me of it! We stopped before leaving town to eat breakfast.....chickfila where my oldest DD use to work in HS.....so she knows everyone there.......ok so we get our food & oldest DD prays over it.......they both say amen........and I add this exact phrase ......and I quote! "And please give us safe travel today, BYE" The girls looked at eachother and then just BURST into laughter.....it took me a second to figure out what I had said.........but then all three of us were laughing so hard tears came to our eyes.........the rest of today they randomly will say "BYE" and we all burst out laughing again!!!

I'm gonna head off to lalaland..........my legs are wore out & I have to get up early for CPR grrrrr LOL

Not much to say today - we're almost ready for the onslaught. I'm excited about being able to do this for our friends.

Catherine - congrats on 3000 - hope you took a tylenol before you went to bed - I hate a wine headache the next day.

Annie - I'm so proud of you with the 18s. The new clothes I bought a few months ago are getting too big - to the point where one pair or the pants and one shirt have to get taken out of the rotation. I can't believe 22s are too big for me (at least one pair is). It's an overwhelming emotion isn't it. Just think when you can walk in to Macy's and not have to find the plus size department - I think I will lose it right then and there.

Rat - I like mustards too!

Debbie - I'm glad you're back on - like Johnnie said grab hold - you've pulled me up many a time girlfriend.

Yesterday was a much better day. Right back on plan and feeling sooo much better, this morning. I don't like to wake up feeling drugged and hungover by my food. What a yukky feeling.

Im heading out for a day of shopping with my girls.Im excited! I just tried on some clothes I thought would still fit but they are to big...need to get a few tops for church and something to wear to another baby shower for my daughter in law.

Annie...chicken in the crok pot is so simple. Thre are recipies out there as well for a whole chicken but I tent to do thighs as they hold up better and stay moister. I am not a huge fan of Torrid. Their stuff is pricey and I find that their more "sensible" dresses are just dowdy. Their sizes also are not standard and I find shopping there to be really frustrating sometimes.

Ahhh mustard. DH ONLY will eat plain yellow mustard. I always keep plain dijon around for cooking but I love all flavors and spice levels.

Monica...I saw Dark Knight last night...wow!!! What a fabulous film. I have never been much into that genre even though DH is a comic book junkie but I loved it as a film and I didn't feel like I was missing too much information.

We're supposed to have dinner at DH's parents on Sunday night and she suggested turkey hot dogs. I don't eat hot dogs of any type...so mneedless to say I wasn't pleased. She just isn't a very good cook. The last time she wanted to have us over she suggested turkey chili. Her turkey chili kinda sucks. So we shall see what comes of this.
