Julia the hardest part of this battle is in our heads. Yes, five months seems like a loooooong time - and it is. But you need a big cheer because you've stuck with it for this long already, and I would think you've learned things about yourself, and your relationship with food, in that time.
It's an old saying: "Weight loss is simple - it just isn't easy", but it's true.
Are you allowing yourself to have your favourite foods in your calorie allowance? One of the things that makes people fall off the wagon is that they "feel deprived", and it's the reason why I have always allowed myself to include everything I like in my weight loss plan.
I've been doing this for almost 16 months, and I fully appreciate that there are times like you're having now. Sometimes they last for days - sometimes for weeks. One of the important things you can do for yourself is to understand that whether you ignore it or not, your body is going to do something about your weight every single day.
Unlike those naturally thin women, we have to work to improve our relationships with food, and to become more healthy.
Now Kel what are you up to? Aside from calling people pains in the bum, and taking photos of yourself at Hungry Jacks

. How's your weight loss going?
I'm planning a quiet - VERY QUIET - day. It's a housemate-free zone, and I'm going to do domestics and potter around. I must be good with food and things this weekend, as Monday is weigh-in day… and I'd love to be able to lose a pound this week.
And I'm waiting to hear how Gen went with WW today too!

PS: I'm going to be in Sydney and Brisbane in January, so if anyone is around there and wants to catch up for a coffee - PM me and we'll organise it.
