Cherie it's cold here (Buffalo, NY) too. During the day it's not bad but it came down to 35 last night. My body was in shock after sleeping in AZ for 4 nights.

Kempy I am a financial wholesaler. Basically my clients are banks not individuals. So I am hired by a large financial firm (like Mass Mutual) to go into the banks and train the bank brokers (along with a partner who does more travelling than I) and I often am back at the office for compliance, operations and questions. I hope that explanation did not bore you to death.

just a quick note from me, been busy with taking ds to school this am, then lunch. I have not eaten anything yet today and it is 1:30 in the darn afternoon . I have phone calls to make this pm somewhere I have to work them in .

Kempy great job excercising. Loving it! You sound so much happier to be out of that **** hole and all they put you through. I told my husband about what Joe did with the wine and the glass, flowers and a card, he was like duh,?? I think the guy he works with don't do anything like that. They want freakin slave drivers the guys at his work . Joe and you sound great together.

Summer I know I am feeling the cold here too. Yuck. I talked to my brother last night and am so tempted to move out there by him.

Cherie chili is my favorite meal! Gotta have it with spaghetti, melted cheese and ff sour cream. And of course corn bread. Love it.

Hey girls. I finally got the pics downloaded into the computer so I will be resizing and posting them within the next hour or so. I think the memory stick got damaged or something (it's the original that came with the camera so it's quite a few years old). It kept stopping at pic#474, when all I really wanted was to do the last 80 or so pics... I did get it to work though. I am going to delete the rest off and save it to disc.

I also got Michael's school pics yesterday, although the 8x10 is missing! I was so pissed about that. Now I have to write to customer service and find out what happened to it. All I have is a 3-1/2x5 and a whole bunch of those little tiny wallet sized pics that I don't even give out. I can't get over how grown up my son looks in all the pics we take now, what happened to my little baby???

Kempy, I have to chime in on congratulating you for doing the Tae Bo . It was so freakin' hot here yesterday--so humid and yucky that I didn't even go out and walk. I stayed in and did all the vacation laundry though. I sweated enough so that it seemed like I walked a few miles. I had a little run-in with some peanut brittle, but it's all gone now so I'm good to go healthy today, again .

Summer, my BIL (the one I don't really care for ) is from Buffalo. His daughter is visiting us here in HI though, I'm sure she's enjoying the heat. She still lives there, or in Cuba, NY actually...I don't know the exact areas. Oh yeah, I'm sure the 35--50 degrees is just a glimpse of what the winter will be like *brrrrrrrrr*

Cherie, another ebay shopper huh? I go through spells where I bid on a bunch of stuff, then I sell some stuff off. I like the adrenaline rush at the end of an auction, esp. if I get to snipe someone at the last minute . I'm sure your girls will look absolutely adorable this year. Any ideas of what they want to dress up as? Still sending good thoughts and prayers for Steven and you and the girls.

Julie, is DD and DS feeling better? If it makes you feel any better, Rick is not so much a romantic anymore, except on b-days or anniversaries. And I am the one that usually has to plan any outing, which is OK w/me because at least I know I'll like the place . I think it would be great if you guys could move to CA, then it wouldn't be so far to visit you. Does your brother live in northern or southern Cal?

I'm still working on resizing some pics, I can't get the darn Picture It software to run properly. I hate it when that happens. Anyone have any ideas how I can resize a whole bunch to thumbnails so I can post them all at once?

Before I post more pics, I had this not-so-funny/embarrassing moment happen to me while on vacation. On our first day out to Disneyland, I attempted to put on my fanny pack to carry my wallet and stuff so I didn't have to bring my purse. Well, the last time I wore that fanny pack was in February 04, during the Great Aloha Run (which was when I weighed about 170 lbs ). Suffice it to say, when I tried to put the strap around my waist, it was about 3-4 inches too short . Yeah, yeah, if that isn't incentive enough to get back on track, I don't know what is. If only I could just stop stuffing my gob
