    HAAAAA!!! That one got me!

My DF calls my chest my shelf. And he refuses to let me wear white when we go out to a Mexican place 'cuz he knows I'll just stain my shirt w/ salsa. I don't want to lose my girls I'm kind of wishing the rest of the fat goes away but those stick around. I want to keep them, stained clothes and all.
  • funny thing is my chest actually "looks" bigger when I'm skinnier because right now my belly sticks out farther then my boobs..LOL so my boobs stay the same size and the belly shrinks there for giving the optical illusion that they are bigger
  • I can't wait until I can
    **shop anywhere for clothes
**weigh less than a professional wrestler or football player
**cross my legs (ankles are the only thing I can cross right now)
**walk without the dreading thigh rubbing noise
**get rid of the big girl undies and pantyliners
**walk up the stairs without feeling like I'm going to die
    **sleep without snoring
**last but not least, wash myself without picking up my stomach
  • Oh MY GOSH, so TRUE!!
Quote: Oh my gosh I thought of some more they may be T M I - so proceed with caution while reading!

-Not getting boils in between my legs! ugh how horrible! I used to think they were in grown hairs

    - being able to get a clear view of my hoo ha with out lifting up my belly fat!

    - or being about to wash my hoo ha in the shower with out bending over backwards practically doing a bridge just for the shower water to reach it.. LOL oh god cant believe I just said that- but it's true..

    - not having to practically break my arm to reach my bum to wipe!
Luckily, I don't get the boils thing...but I haven't seen my girlie parts in probably 15 years. I have been honest about the smelly belly button so I'm not afraid of the TMI...can I just say, I'll be glad when I don't have to shave by braille.
  • TMI seriously - You see ladies cleaning hooha in the shower is solved by getting a hand held shower head with different settings. Cleaning never felt so good!

Edit to add - see you already covered this on pg 8! But it is worth a repeat!
  • LOL @ shave by braille..LOL
  • HA! braille...........so true. I cut the crap out of my armpits this morning. Owie.
  • thought of another one while driving home from work...

not having my belly touch the steering wheel while driving!

and not having my belly rest on top of the table while sitting in a booth...
  • Booth? Do they still make those?
  • Here is one that happened this weekend - haven't seen this person in a LONG time - "wow, don't YOU look different" and knowing what they are thinking.

Btw, I really cant wait to stop getting food on the shelf. I can't tell you how many shirts I have ruined bcs of that
  • oh another one.. being able to see my feet when looking down instead of my belly!
  • I'm so glad you started this thread. A lot of things we all go through and for me personally, glad I'm not alone in those personal struggles. Making me laugh and smile and knowing we can all be open and share them.

    Thanks for Sharing Everyone!
  • I thought I would try to revive this thread! anyone got anything new?
  • Reading these really got me smiling. Thank you!!!

    - not being asked my due date!!! I'm done with having kids, thank you!
  • here is what i am looking forward to.
    * no more granny panties
    * finding cute clothes at rummage sales
    * being able to eat out without feeling like all eyes are on the fat chic
    * going to the pool or lake without feeling like a beached whales.
    * cat calls not fat calls
    * being on top during sex (sorry tmi)
    * letting someone fold my cloths with out being embarrassed that they are so big
    * getting a shower, dressed up, doing my hair without feeling winded
    * cleaning my whole house in one shot.
    * being able to keep up with the walking pace of others, though i am short so this may never happen.
*cooking dinner AND cleaning the kitchen not cooking OR cleaning

and the single most important thing, being able to spend a whole afternoon with my 4 yr old playing what he wants to play. and not having to say mommy can't.
