  • I was down 1 pound today. I've been fighting with the same couple pounds the past 2 weeks enough...time to move to a new number.

    Me too! Someone might read some of my posts here and think I obsess over one pound and have a problem with the scale - but the thing is I can weigh, then come and post and whine however I want - and then I'm DONE with it.
  • Julie & FB - I absolutely agree...I personally don't like not weighing-in daily because it's what helps keep me on track. It's nice to have a place to vent when the hard work isn't showing on the scale though! I just know some people get down on themselves based only on the number on the scale. You sound like you have a great perspective. I hope mine stays that way too!

    OMG Mindy you are SO out of the 200's! How exciting!

    Wow FB I'd say that weighing in every day is most definately working for you. You've done awesome. I do the same thing w/ the scale. If it's up I know I have to work just a little bit harder to make it go back down again. It makes me more aware of my daily choices & how they impact my weight.

    I made it back in under 150, now I really, really need to focus and get out of the 140's, I have been stuck in this vicinty since April, need to stop with the on & off of the same 8-10 pounds!

  • koolkiwi-You're still down from the start. That's all that matters. I'm very happy as long as I lose something during the challenge. I'm only regular happy if I don't lose weight.

    Barb, congrats on getting the scale moving down deeper into the 250s!! woohoo!

    I'm a daily weigher, too. It definitely keeps me on track, and I feel like I've learned a lot, just from watching the daily weights in relation to my eating and exercise habits, tom, etc. Knowledge is power, chickies!

    Down a pound today! Man, I was stuck on the exact same number for 4 days, so this was a nice surprise!

    Yay! I must say that my super crazy competive nature is what is keeping me focused this week. It would take ALOT to push me off plan when I am this close.....

    To be realistic tho, I'm not expecting any more weight loss this week. I've lost 3.2 lbs in the last 2 days......that's enough for the week. I'd be shocked if my scale went down any more. I'm actually more prepared for it to go up a bit.

    Trying to keep things in perspective this time around!
