I can relate with you, Crunchy- my DH has always been a very plain eater. Over the years I've just kept exposing him to different foods (like you'd do for a picky child), and eventually he's gotten better at trying different things. If I want to try something new, I don't use many spices- for some reason this helps- and I also include something in the dinner that I know he'll love. Lately he's been trying to cook, and since he's done that he's moved leaps and bounds ahead as far as trying new things. Maybe it's because he feels more in control of it all? He's been grilling a lot lately, too, and trying new things out there. I really don't know how this started, but I'm welcoming it! It helps, too, that our kids ended up being adventurous eaters, and they challenge him.
I made the cauliflower poppers yesterday. I can see how you could eat a whole head in one sitting. First, they're really good, and second, the cauliflower kind of shrinks down so it's like you're not eating as much. I was good, though, and only ate half. I put the rest in the fridge, but now won't they be soggy, not crunchy? I seasoned with Lawry's seasoned salt, garlic powder and onion powder, and they ended up being in the over for 1 hour and 15 min. Does that sound about right?

- the outfits were incredible, the shows and crafters were interesting, and we all had great fun! My teenage sons and DH were impressed with the swords and weaponry, and I just soaked up the Celtic music and cool clothing. It put some ideas in my head for future creations. A mini-vacation enjoyed by all!
Still no rain in the forecast, but it is actually looking alittle overcast right now.

But the tomato and pepper plants are happy campers!
