Hi everyone, I had a bad week-end, starting with the house being hit with lightening around 5pm!!!!!

I was terrified!! I was setting up the boys' Playstation at the time & everything went white then black, including the tv. It knocked off some of the power & fried the pc modem & something else in the pc (don't ask me what coz I have NO IDEA

about pc stuff, lol). Steve spent most of Saturday sorting it out. I had a few brandies Friday night as I was so shaken ( I actually had a 'toilet accident'

which was WAY embarassing!) but the booze also led to eating bad stuff.

Luckily everything else seems ok, there was no other damage we could see, though next door had the power out & tv broken/damaged. Anyway...
Nancy, I hope everything else goes smoothly with your new apartment, it is a shame being patient doesn't have the same good results in life like you said. Looking on the positive side, a new start, you get to choose what stuff you put into your new home, no guy to cater to, just what YOU WANT & LIKE, I'm a bit jealous!!!

I'm so pleased for you too, of course!xxxxxxx
Misti, glad you got your bike sorted out.xxxx(How's the pastor's daughter doing?)
Catherine, ooh yes that PMS monster. That is so sad about homelessness, I (stupidly) thought in a country as huge as Canada that there would be enough houses/land to build for everyone to have a home. I'm glad you're feeling better.xxxxxx
Kayley, glad it wasn't anything serious

. WTG on seeing all these bands, there's nothing like it, just soaking in the atmosphere, let alone the music, lol, used to have me allhyped up.xxxxxx
Lisa, thanks for the info, there are Marriot hotels near us 'Breadsall Priory' is about 10 miles away, we looked at it for our wedding reception but it was too far away for our horse-drawn carriage to get there. (As well as being VERY expensive!!lol) Are there any support forums for your liquid diet? I make muffins, chocolate truffles & popadoms with my soup/shake packs, which I got from the forum for The Cambridge Diet. You could experiment with it, I mix up 2tablespoons of BOILING water in a big mug, add a chocolate shake, stir well (a stiff cake-mixture texture) & microwave for 1 minute 40 seconds, that makes a 'muffin'. Though I'm only allowed one each day as it destroys the nutrients in it. Also mixing up chocolate shakes with cold water to a stiff paste, puting small ( 1teaspoon sized) blobs onto tinfoil or plastic sandwich box lids & freezing for 1-2 hours makes 'truffles'. You could ask & see if you can do this, ok they aren't as nice as the 'real thing'

but you can CHEW them!!lolxxxxxx
Ammi, hope you are ok,

not seen you around on Sunday on MSN.xxxxxxx
Emilymay, did I forget to congratulate you? If so I apologise, WTG !!!!!I hope your family made a big fuss of you getting the job & that you are now, or almost a 'REAL' nurse!xxxxxx
Valerie, how are you? Hope work is good & you're getting lots of riding in.xxxxx
