  • Morning lovely ladies! It's another semi-warm day in Pittsburgh, which means that I need to have everything ranging from a raincoat to snowshoes just in case. The weather here is insane. I took adavantage while I could, however, and went for a 45 minute walk/run this morning. It was actually pretty relaxing, once I got into a "zone" of sorts. How's everyone's exercise coming along? What do you guys to to keep it interesting?

  • I was goin to go for a walk to take my oldest DD to get her braces and palate expander out but we have strong wind gust here so it looks like a bus trip but I will still be getting walking in cause we get off at a transfer point and it is about 4 block walk from there then I will be walking to the grocery store (another 4 or 5 blocks)but then a cab home.
  • Ladies, I'm pooped! I took yesterday off work and went to disney with some of my friends from back home... we walked 2 of the parks and I am whipped. And all the stupid stairs to get to some of the shows... lol... when I got to the top of the stadium for the lights, motors, action show (car stunts) I turned around and gasped. 6 months ago I wouldn't have been able to make it up all those steps without getting winded. I didn't even feel the burn (LOL) in my thighs until I was almost all the way to my seat. (on the way back down we took the "normal steps" on the end and there were 6 flights).

    I walked yesterday morning and this morning as usual, so I've got 120 min there... and I'm going to count an hr of my park walking (instead of the 12 I spent there because I figure I did do a lot of standing around or riding rides too)...

    so... 147 - 180 = THERE!!! (with some miles left over for sight seeing!)

    Lets head to the west coast to visit w/ some of my family! On to PORTLAND, OREGON! 3474 miles! (it is actually 3474.8, but I took care of that .8 w/ my sight seeing miles. )

  • lol... I guess it took me longer to post than I thought it did... We got a lot closer to new brunswick while I was posting than we were before... *shrug* even more sight seeing miles!
  • Hello ladies! So yesterday was my recovery day from the gym... I semi-behaved on the binge-end of it and I maintained at 145.0 ... today I plan to do 1 1/2 hrs of capoeira and some cardio and maybe weights depending on time. I'll get back to you tomorrow on what I was able to do... and get us moving west!

    Ciao for now... 15 lbs til the 120s!

    Today I ran/walked a little bit about .60 of a mile, I am going to work up from there and hope to run a mile pretty soon without stopping. Today was the very first day for me, but I am going to stick to it.

    haeyu14 - I am jealous, I LOVE Disney.. are you in CA or FL? Good job on your exercising.

  • Good morning everyone!

    I was a wimp this morning (and was running late) so I only put in 45 min of walking instead of my usual hour. I don't have to tutor today though, so I should be able to find the motivation to work really hard tonight.

    helpmelose, I'm in florida. I live close enough to the parks to hear and see the fireworks every night.

    Man I hate being at the end of weight loss I find I go weeks with out loosing then like last week have a drop.

    Well ladies...I still did have my evening snacking but I was significantly healthier this time and in not as much excess! So exciting!

    My initial weigh in was 145 for this challenge. Down to 143.0 this morning!!!!
