Kathy, it's great to hear you are still plodding on despite the hurdles. So what is it that you are studying now? And how much longer do you have to go? And, to stay on topic, what is you plan of attack for weight-loss this time?
Ani! I was thinking about you and your housemate last night, wondering how much longer she had left. Is the next one short term too? I s'pose it'd have to be if you are moving again! That's a bummer, but I guess it is good that you have a bit more notice about having to move this time!
And I think it is great that you are back on track and making progress again!
Jayley, I have heard that story about the 'shake' diets so often too! I really don't agree with them because they do not teach you about lifestyle changes. I am with you with the slow and steady (and sometimes two steps forward, one step back) approach!
I had a bit of a dilema today. I was given a packet of double coated Tim Tams at work! But I am proud to say, they remained unopened for the whole day on my desk! At the end of the day I gave them to a colleague in the office next to me and told her to share them around while I am away next week! Can I have a carrot for that??
I have done reasonably well again today...ate around 1500 cal, drank some more water, and walked from my office to the office next door with a packet of Tim Tams! Hey, it's still exercise!!
I am starting to feel a little more determinded about behaving myself next week, although I am not overly confident about a positive weigh-in this week. I might have to skip weigh-in so as not to go away feeling disappointed with my efforts from earlier this week. I'll see what the weekend does for me.
I'm making two promises tonight:
1) I will post again tomorrow
2) I will drink 2L of water tomorrow
