Mkay, don't worry sweets, i am very careful w/the online thing. I am very cautious and reserved, sometimes they don't like it, but then that is a huge red flag that goes up for me, so i'll be fine. My date tonight is cancelled, something came up with his 7 yo daughter and her gymnastics and the ex asking him to pick the DD up, it'd get too late before we could meet. Maybe another time. I'm secretly very glad because i'm tired and sore from yesterdays PT. I plan to get some groceries and go home and get in bed early. Oh, i have to go get a prescription too, they adjusted my thyroid medication, i wasn't taking enough, which kind of explains being so tired....

Is the Apprentice on tonight?......I like that show for some reason although The Donald's hair just throws me over the edge......... I mean REALLY, would someone just please tell him.......

BEEN SO BUSY, Sunday was Angie's first street fair as a seller trying to sell her "new business" products. Before I tell you how it went I want you to know that it was :
THE FIRST DAY OF RAIN ( HEAVY )IN 182 DAYS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. Reminded me of the commercial:

SPENDING TIME WITH YOUR WIFE...LISTENING TO THE CALLS ON THE CELL PHONE FROM THE KIDS TELLING US HOW MUDDY...AND HOW MUCH FUN THE PUPPIES WERE HAVING IN THEIR FIRST RAIN....PRICELESS!!

Angie didn't make any money...the crowd was really down because of the weather...but wee had fun anyway...left the house at 5:30 and got home at 6:00 that night.

Ryan really needs the computer...I PROMISE to get back to you soon!!

Prayer Request
*~*~*

I have a *PRAYER REQUEST* for my best pal, Peggy...

She went for a physical on Saturday (10-16) and has been told that she has a noisy artery in her neck that may cause strokes (her family has a history of strokes)... she is going for an ultra-sound today (10-20) at 10:30 and I am going with her for support.

Please say a prayer for her health and that whatever it is they find, the Dr's will catch it early enough to help her with meds! I must say... I am very concerned!!! Her father has had many strokes!!! Thank-you so much!!!

Another Day!
Boy, not being on my prozac is visible in my head. I see our problems more and get down about them. Financial just isn't letting up. I can feel that I want to feel sorry for myself and be a martyr about things. NOT...I cannot let satan get in. Anyway...

Went to DD's new house last night expecting to help unpack and organize (I ALWAYS helped her do that stuff because she has overwhelming tendencies). Low and behold...it was just about done! Another part of the umbilical (sp) cord cut.

It was her 22nd b-day as well. I am sooooo proud of her. I miss the girls terribly. Rachel's life is just starting out being married, new house, great faith and God fearing husband. See...here I go again...whine whine whine.

Mitchy- I think the on-line dating thing is great and I'm happy you are careful Getting into jammies and going to bed early sounds wonderful.

Sunny- Father, thank You for Your healing. We pray that Peggy's body is healed to wholeness. We pray that You shield her from the inheritence of her family's history of strokes. Break that bondage of disease and keep her healthy and well. In Jesus most loving and healing name we pray...Amen!

Angie- I went to Hershey, PA before. By the way, Hershey is my ultimate favorite chocolate. Mmmmm good. Although I do love peanut M&Ms.

Teel- I pray for a beautiful, gentle, sound night's sleep for you. How's the absess?

EZ- Quality time with DW is wonderful and especially because you "want" to be there with her.

Bunna- Did I scare you away?

I did drop 1 lb since last week. I really want to drop an additional 9lbs before Thanksgiving.

Cliff felt content. He felt good about the diet. He knew it was time to do something, so it didn't feel like such a great struggle. He prayed for God's help, and he felt God's presence with him. Sure, there would be unpleasantness, as there was whenever a sacrifice was involved, but it would all be well worth it. The prospect of being healthy and trim was very appealing to him. Cliff had confidence that God would bless him with strength, courage, and peace. With that kind of assurance, how could he go wrong?
Today's thought: If God will give me everything I really need, how can I help but lose weight?

well actually I am not drinking coffee as it is 01:43 here in England and I am downing a mug of Horlicks Lite as I don't feel as if I have been to sleep properly yet...boring boring boring!!! And exhausting to boot!! So I thought I 'd come and chat to you guys and gals...

Sprout thank you for that pondering question! Coo I do wosh it was as easy as it seems it should be! After all you are quite right...with God's help, His beievers should be able to conquer anything....Perhaps its true then that God waits until we are in His presense to make us perfect....

Sunny D I am wondering how your friend got on with her hospital appointment yesterday? I am sure she felt very covered in prayer with you by her side and that you were a good source of moral support. Did the docs reach any sort of conclusion? Please let us know when you can. I have to say (feeling very pious especially at this time in the morning!) that I tend to feel quite excited to think I am praying with people who are also praying thousands and thousands of miles away...seems to bring our Christian family closer, somehow.

Ok! Piousness over!!! Not like me to wax so lyrical!

As for the absess...well it certainly feels heaps better now it is more out than in. Trouble is that I am taking such a concoction of antibiotics that I actually feel quite ill with stomach pains and the like. Yesterday I just couldn't shift the awful groin pain I have been struggling with since my injections three weeks ago now, and the back pain has been almost too bad to put up with as well On top of which my chest pain has also been very aggravating.....aaaaaargh!!!! At least the nurse who re-dressed the wound yesterday said I could see to it for myself from then on and gave me a load of dressings....saves me from travelling the 12 mile round trip into town as I have been doing daily this week.

Mkay well done on your loss last week! Oh and please would you tell me, what happens at Shepherds?

Mitchypoo I hope the thyroid meds are settling everything down again...with the right thyroxin levels running around your system, you will soon be running around the house prepsring for the holiday season and no-one will be able to sit you down! Hope you feel better very soon.

Well I think its time I tried to get some sleep tonight. I know it is said that if you are resting the body, it is as benficial as being asleep, but I personally think the jury is still out on that thought!!

Good Morning CER's,

I went to the hospital yesterday with my pal, Peggy, and she had the ultra-sound done. She won't know the results for a few days yet, but before she left the room the radiologist carefully stated, "I see nothing to worry about" and that sure put both our minds to rest... now we wait. We went out to lunch afterwards and Peggy seemed very relieved and by the time I got home, I just felt spent. I found myself just sitting and staring out the window. I felt a peace just sitting and reflecting on the beauty out my window and watching our birds and not thinking at all.

Thank you so much for your prayers and thoughts! We sure felt them. I told Peggy that she was being lifted up and she smiled and said it brings her so much of comfort knowing that people that don't even know her are praying for her health and well-being.

Thank you so much for covering my friend in prayer yesterday --- I know she felt it, because she did feel relieved after it was all done even though she is still not sure about the results. Yes! It is awesome that we are connected by being children of God and Saved by His Grace & Sacrafice and are able to share it miles & miles away from one another over the Internet like we do.

As far as printing the instructions... just do a HIGHLIGHT of the instructions I posted; then Rt click over the highlighted area and Left Click on COPY & then Rt Click and PASTE IT on to your notepad or word and then it will print out for you. Otherwise, you will get all the pages from the thread printed out instead of the area you wanted

Bunna ~ I am so sorry to hear that you are still not feeling well!!! I do hope that you will come back soon!!!!!!!!!! Telling us that your flare-up has eased up and that you are better. I know from experience that those flare-ups take a long time to quiet down!!! I am holding you close in *Prayer* Please come back and let us all know how you are doing soon!

Wilma ~ Ohhhh, it was such a nice Sunday too I love it when we are able to stay home and just chill out to a fav movie or the Sunday paper, not to mention... cuddling with a blankie and a kitty

I am so happy to hear that your cabinet guy finally got there... but I know what you mean about *when* to complete it. I think if it were me, I would wait till after the holiday's (those are stressful all by themselves). Then you won't worry if the project takes longer (and they always do!). Just food for thought.

Yeah for DS and getting a new job!!! How's is it all going for him so far? I will continue to lift him up in prayer that all goes well... they make good money once he gets past the apprentice part.

Sunny~! How sweet of you to be with your friend. I pray that it goes well. I totally understand why you were spent, emotionally it can be very draining. I ended up not going on my date on Tuesday because it didn't work out with him. Something came up w/his daughter (7 yo) and it would have been too late before we could meet. He's calling still, but i'm not sure what to think. And now i've started talking to one in Las Vegas and we're really enjoying getting to know eachother on the phone. He wants to come out here to meet me. Trying to take it slow and listen to what the Lord wants for me. He seems to be a very caring, sincere Christian man. We'll see what happens.

Thanks, she would go with me... that's the beauty of our relationship whenever anything comes up in our lives one of us is there for the other. She has been there many times for me, that's for sure! I am only glad to be there for her now... we are still waiting for the test results, I hope it's not too long of a wait. It's always comforting to hear from the Dr. that all is well.

I am sorry that your date fell through... are you going to set up another evening date with him then? Just remember to be safe and tell someone where you are going and just have fun! Listen to me... I sound like a mom

Yipee!!! Outta here at 12:30 today to go buy a house gift for my sister and my other sister will pick me up approx 2:30 and off to Indiana we go. Indianapolis area. 5 hour drive and a relaxing get away! Amen!

(tea) Hi guys. Feeling some better this morning thank God for that and thank you for prayers. The weather changed so quickly back and forth here for a few days I kind of think that brought on the flare-up, plus the stress of getting my kids moved out. Soon.

That birthday cake sure looks good, Happy Birthday Sue, whereever you are.

Angie, I really liked Hildago too.

Sorry you aren't sleeping well Teel. That is a hard one I know from experience. Glad you aren't having to make that 12 mile trip all the time now. You are a strong lady.

Mkay, no you didn't scare me off. FMS just got the better of me and that doesn't happen too often anymore but every now and then I just cannot cope with anything other than the absolute necessities like work and sleep. Sounds like you are doing pretty good. Glad to hear it and things with DH are good right now.

Sprout, again a great daily.

Sunny, I copied the instructions for the graphics and will be working on that when we get back from the drag races next weekend. So happy to hear that your friend's test looks good, what a relief. I am gonna be working toward getting a camera so I can post some pictures too. That way you can see my kitties, dogs, house, oh yeah me too!

Gary, you are staying busy, thanks for letting us know everything is going well. Talk to us when you get a chance.

We are getting ready to leave for Las Vegas next Thursday afternoon. Three days of drag racing and then of course a little playing too. Last time we went my dh was too sick to enjoy going out to Hoover so we will be doing that again and then just walking the strip to see all the casinos and their beautiful creations. Last year we went to see the show at Excalibar and it was great fun. They have a horse arena in the basement and Knights. I am so glad that I started feeling better this week.

Well I am off to clean litter boxes, make the bed, and do some more laundry before I head off to work. Everybody have a wonderful day today. Love ya,
