  • Jan. 17: 35 min elliptical, spin class

    It is still raining. The dog and I are getting moldy.

    January 18 AM: 5 sets DB bench press, barbell in the corner shoulder press, bent over row, jumping jacks, pushups.
  • Oh, no, Ward, you're gonna need mold remediation, which means guys in space suits spraying chemicals on you. The dog will shake & shake himself out like he's been swimming.

    Friday, January 18th:

    30 minutes Stairmaster stepmill, aerobic intervals, resistance at nine
    60 minutes back & biceps routine
    30 minutes back on the Stairmaster

    Was feeling like pushing myself today & bumped weights up to 25 lbs for rows -- which, for my gym, is bad@ss for a woman.
  • lol, saef! No need for chemical sprays because the sun came out!!! Finally! And by the way, I have no doubt that you are bad@ss with all your workouts.

    Jan. 18: mat pilates class (Afterwards a very sweet woman who only ever sees me lifting weights told me she was impressed by how graceful I am, which is really a surprise to me because the whole time I was feeling like a football player in a room full of ballerinas. Made my day!) Also, 65 min elliptical and 40 min DOG WALK! woot!
  • January 18: 5 miles running (41:21)
    Bob Harper's Yoga for the Warrior DVD (60 mins)
    10 minutes foam rolling
  • Getting back after sick. No exercise from 1/9 which was a rest day though 1/15.

    1/16:
    30 min workout from workout trainer, focusing on wall exercises. Wall sits, wall push ups, planks and push ups with feet on the wall, etc. It was tough. Followed with 30 mins on the elliptical.

    1/17: off

    1/18:
    'Fit Fall 20x20' workout from my program - 20 exercises in 20 mins, 1 minute per exercise. Hard. 30 mins on the elliptical.

    Exercise is harder than it used to be right now. Some of that is from the sick I think, some is probably from being out of shape. Meh.
  • Saturday, Jan. 19th:

    60 minutes spin class with weight intervals
    60 minutes Pilates mat class
  • Jan. 19: spin class, 50 min upper body weights, 40 min dog walk
  • January 19: 7.25 mile walk with my boys of course (1:57:13)
    50 minutes weight lifting (Chest and shoulders)
    10 minutes foam rolling
  • 1/19: 45 minutes on the elliptical (at 9pm!), 15 mins of stretching
