  • I'm in!!! I think this will keep me motivated. Thank you for the inspiration.
  • Quote: Ok ladies...you guys too! How about 30 pounds by Thanksgiving? That would bring all of us closer to goal and I'm guessing we all could use a new challenge right about now. .
Summer is over. It's cooler and much nicer for all of us to walk. Plus, this will get us all focused so that we can be stronger for all those food based times that will be facing us before we know it.
    Let's go for it.............30 by T-day!!!!!
Never been in a challenge... Count me in! a bit scare but I have signed up, I will have to sign up everyday for support and daily encourage.
  • Halfway through the first week of weigh ins!! Love seeing those numbers up there Keep up the great work everyone!!!
  • I am in too. This will be great motivation. Fun seeing all the numbers!
  • I'm in too! I would love to. One 55 lbs by then. I was going to say good luck. Everyone but we don't need luck we just need to stay OP!
  • Quote: It's actually pretty common to have a slowdown in week 4. Your body is going to adjust along the way, it won't always be big drops every week. I had a 5lb week, then under 1lb, then 1.6lb this week. Look at the big picture more than the individual numbers. What diet have you ever been on where you could lose 16 pounds in one month???
Thanks Scorbett!! You are always a great voice of reason and a source of motivation!!!

  • Hello, everyone!

I'd love to hop on the "30 by Thanksgiving" train, too! I've never been in a challenge and just started IP last week. I am 100% OP but did not do well last week. I am needing to do IP without soy or sucralose so that really limits my options on food. I don't know if that's the reason for the slow loss but my first WI was only -4 lbs. I did lose about 6 inches in the first week, though Gotta keep it in perspective I guess.

Anyway, hope this newbie on the slow train can join all y'all
  • BTW, for the first column on the chart, I put in my starting weight on Thu, 9/6 which was my 1st day on IP. My first weigh in was yesterday.

Is that okay ?Or should I put in yesterday's weight in the first column?

Put in your "Starting weight" at the beginning, and this week's weigh in for the "Week 1" numbers. Make sure every pound you've lost since starting counts!!
  • i am only weighing in every other week now because of my work and class schedule. Will this change anything? Do I record every other week and leave the other slots blank?

Yep - just leave the weeks blank that you don't weigh in. That should keep the formulas still working!
  • All signed up and ready to lose together!

Isn't it great to be a loser?!
  • I'm in. This is my first week on IP. I'm super excited about the challenge.
  • Ok why not.
  • This is going to great to share our weight loss together. I'm looking forward to your weight loss success posts, real incentive to stay OP.
