  • Thursday, June 28th:

    45 minute spin class, the last Thursday class for the summer, as attendance has been poor. In fact, just two of us showed up this morning.
    15 minute Pilates routine

    On this gorgeous morning, which is just a prelude of the heat that we expect later today, the gym didn't have many people at all. But I passed many runners out on the road while driving out.
  • Wednesday, June 27:
    -3.4 mile jog with boyfriend. NO WALKING. Very proud of this fact. Having a running buddy helps a lot!
  • Friday, June 29th:

    15 minutes Stairmaster stepper, aerobic intervals, resistance at eight, which is now easy.
    60 minutes back and biceps routine. Some guy had the Gravitron at the end, so I had to settle for lat pulldowns when usually I test my strength by trying assisted pullups.
    45 minutes back on stepper, and this was so hard, with me grabbing the rails for the last nine minutes. Someone rowing had the big fan trained on her & I wasn't about to rudely turn it away to me.
  • Thursday, June 28:

    -15 minutes intervals on elliptical, level 8/10. Legs were still sore from running.
    -Upper body weights routine. Increased all my weights. Feeling it today!
    -5 minutes running (read: flopping and dying) on treadmill. HOT day at the un-air-conditioned smelly gym!

  • Saturday, June 30th:

    The other stairmaster was fixed! There wasn't any time limit on them anymore!

    60 minutes Stairmaster, aerobic intervals, resistance at eight, and yes, I touched the rails during the steepest intervals. This thing makes me sweat like nothing else, not even spin class.

    I ended up with fewer days than usual (2 trips this month) but more minutes. My weight is higher than it was at the beginning of the month though. I'm really hoping to get back below 120 soon.
