  • So when I started this challenge on October 21st...I was 208 and wanted to lose 20 lbs by new years....

    Now I'm 209 =/

HOPEFULLY I'll be able to pull myself together and get back on track. A month ago I was 213, and I've continuously made it down to 207, and gone back up to 210 probably about 4 times...and now I'm back up to 209.

I know the reason, at least this specific time...I went on a date with my bf, which pretty much never happens because he doesn't live here, and we went to rainforest cafe and I asked for nutritional information and they didn't have any, so I pretty much just had to guess at what could be healthy...and apparently I was wrong...lol.

My goal of a 20 lb loss has now become a 21 lb loss, because I want to get to 188 by new years...

Honestly, if I don't make my goal, I think I'll still be happy, because I'm almost positive that by new years, I'll be in onederland! I'm so excited =D
  • As predicted yesterday..no gain, no loss.
    SW160.5
    CW 160.5
    GW 145
    Loss - 0
But I have gained and lost 4 lbs in the last week so its a bit of an up and down. Now if only I could just go down.

The one thing I am going to do this week to improve is lift weights..heavy ones. I stopped doing that and it seems to make a different.

Good luck to everyone..we can do this.
  • SW: 193
    CW: 187.5
    Weight-loss to date: 5.5lbs

My SW is about a week and a half ago because I dont know my exact weight when i joined the challenge. I was stuck at 193 since August and I started doing the 30DS and its started to come off again! YAY Next week I probably wont be so lucky
  • Pam, thats amazing! Well done.
  • Thank you Irishkatt it has been a really tough couple of months not seeing the scale move and finally to see 5.5lbs less is AMAZING. Slow and steady wins the race has been my new saying and boy do I believe it. Good luck guys!!! I think what has helped me was the fact of doing strength exercises because this whole journey I have basically only been doing CARDIO CARDIO CARDIO and my body needed that push.. and it paid off
  • First off, sorry I've been MIA these past few days. Grad school is keeping me busy (especially since I'm presenting a paper next week and I'm not done writing it! Eeeeep!)

Anyway, welcome to all the new challenge members! *waves*

DivineFidelity : you can do it! You have such a positive attitude, I'm sure you'll do just fine :-)

irishkatt Yes, weight lifting DOES make a difference, doesn't it? My weight fluctuates a lot too, but it does seem to fluctuate in a general downward direction when I do strength training. Good luck this week!

Pammy Wow! Good job, girl! *high fives* If you keep this up, I think you'll meet your goal of losing at least ten pounds before Thanksgiving, let alone New Year.

    As for me....
    Goal : 145 (ten pounds)
    SW : 155
    CW : 153.2 (down 1.8)

Considering it's TOM, I'm deliriously happy simply by the fact that the numbers went DOWN instead of UP. Woohoo!

    Keep it up, chickies!
  • well scratch my NSV because I didn't stick to that! le sigh. I would like to be down a size! My NEW goal that I know with a little thing called hard work I can achieve!!
  • Good job on the losses everyone!

Not so good on my end. Thought I'd stay the same, but I actually gained. I know I've been a little over on calories this week, but I didn't think to the point of gaining. Also, TMI coming up, haven't had bm in several days and I know that contributes sometimes. Hoping for a good result then next week maybe. I just need to tighten the reins a bit and try to get some more exercise in. Goal is still doable.

    SW: 162.5

Not too bad. the last three days have been awful - bad at work and out of town. Did ok on my diet and started my exercise plan. 45 minutes per day on the elliptical. slowly getting there.
  • Is it too late to join? I would really like to be at 190 or below on New Year's.

    Goal: 190.0
  • Oh a bit late but can I join please?

Currently sat on 150lbs and would like to be 134lbs by new year which is about 2lbs a week until new year and will leave me only 5lbs from being "healthy"

    SW - 150lbs
    CW - 150lbs
    GW - 134lbs
  • Of course it's not too late to join! Welcome aboard, ladies!
