  • Just some girl, don't worry about the kisses. How about counting them as your weekly points (the extra 35). I really indulged last week but counted EVERYTHING. Just start over today at 0.

    Had an awesome workout this morning. I woke up and was on the road at 6:30. I had to pick my vehicle up from being repaired. I was rear ended in November. I am very happy to have my own vehicle back. Then I went straight to the gym. My watch said I burned just over 500 calories. It was great.

    I see a pattern here. I need to mix up the lunch think a little bit better. I am going ice skating with my kids this afternoon. This should be a good workout too as none of us know how to skate and I will have to hold up my 4 and 6 year olds. Will visit over the weekend. Have a good one.

  • BAD me!!! I actually went OVER my points today... blah!!! I know it's only 1 point but I still feel like a pig. And I know I get 35 flex-points extra a week to use however I want, but I'm just feeling so down on myself about this!! I knew better........ Ugh!!!!!!

    2 bites of Dh's hasbrown = 1 pt.

  • I had a bad day too, the stress of this week got to me...At first this am, with my stomach in knots over things, I thought it would be a 0 pt day, figuring I'd keep nothing down...WRONG! I ate alot, way over pts, prob. over my flex too....tomorrow is a new day thank goodness.
  • I have been bad.I haven't tracked in days and have been off program as well.The thai anniversary dinner was wonderful and things went downhill from there.I felt sick and spent the next 24 hours running to the bathroom.For all that I dropped a pound lol.Today I am back on plan wishing I had stayed there to begin with.My physical is Tues.and I hate to go there heavier than last time.

    Not sure about the rest of the day for eating but plan to go bowling this afternoon for exercise.
  • Hi all. I am working today. I have been lately on Sundays. By the time Friday comes around, I am so tired of transcribing, that I skip work until the last minute (usually Sun PM). At least today it is only 3:09 and I have about 45 minutes left of work to do. That means I will have all evening to clean house. Yay for me. Ha! Anyway, I have had quite the weekend with food.

    Friday night
    Carabas-Shared chicken Parmesan with a WW buddy. Not too bad. However, I had I think 4 slices of the bread dipped in the oil with spices.

    Saturday.
    fruit smoothie 3pts

    Lunch-Fatburger I split a burger no mayo no cheese with my DD. She also got chili fries. I had some french fries too.

    dinner- to a friends for chicken tacos. Not too bad. However, I had two beers and too much food. At least the dessert was made with FF sugar free pudding and lite cool whip (I brought it).

    canned chicken and pretzels 5pts

    OH with my bagel I had 1/2 a donut 4pts???

    I am making stuffed peppers for dinner. I did save all my flex points for the weekend, but I think I went over. Tomorrows am scale will show me what's up (or down). Every meal is a new meal, every day a new day!!! Here's to doing better with our future food choices.
  • Hey Yall... I'm down 6lbs total now!!!!!! The scale showed me down 2 more this morning from a few days ago so I am doing very well and very shocked!! The pounds lost on the scale is my motivation to keep going!

    Anyways... here's todays food list..

    Breakfast
    Pops cereal (w/ milk) = 5 pts

    Grilled Cheese /w tomatoe = 2 pts

    That's only 13 points, so I need way more to at least get me to 20. I'm just NOT hungry.. but I will find something yummy to snack on sinec we just went grocery shopping.

    I also did 1-mile workout with WATPs today!! YAY!
  • Jenn, Do you only allow yourself 20 pts a day? I'm just worried that maybe you're not eating enough. Try to be sure you get your minimum allowed pts in each day Congrats however, on an awesome loss...YOU GO GIRL!!!

    This weekend has stunk! I don't think I'm eating as badly as pre-ww, but the last few days have been very hard, I've never thought of myself as a stress eater, but maybe I am...The fiasco with our son last week may be lurking deep inside more than I thought, and so I'm not as cautious of my eating habits.
    Here's today
    B: slim fast 3pts, 2 slices ww bread 1pt
    L: 7 RF Triscuits 2pts, laughing cow cheese wedge 1pt, apple 1pt
    S: ww 2pt bar
    D: 1cup taco soup 2pts, 1/4c. cheese 2pts, 7 baked tostitos 1pt
    I had the soup, family got pizza...I had a slice 5pts
    That's 20 out of 26.
    I have both milks in, 1 fruit, no oil. I guess it could be worse, and I guess I could say I got most of another veg in my soup, considering the ingredients.

    We'll see what the scale shows tomorrow.... *Fingers crossed*

    No, I am allowed 28 pts a day. But I try to get to at least 20 when I know I'm not hungry and don't have alot of points. I can eat and eat to get to 28, but I'm simply not hungry or full and I don't want to 'eat just to eat', which it will feel like I'm doing tonight but I know 13 points AIN'T good!!! I can't really change what I eat cause Im so picky and I feel so full from what I do get... I don't feel like I'm not eating much tho.. that's the weird thing!!
  • I can understand that, sometimes I feel I'm eating just to reach my pt level. The leaders keep preaching that we shouldn't have to do that, if we use our points daily the correct way, but I still sometimes end up with several pts after a day of satisfied eating. If around dinner time, I'm still low on pts I'll sometimes eat a higher dinner, add some reg. butter to that potato, or eat corn instead of green beans to up my pts, etc.
  • I am a lurker and have a question. When I make a grilled cheese sandwhich it is 2 per bread, 1 at least for cheese, 1 for butter so that is at least 6 pts.. How can this be done for only 3pts??

  • You use lower point bread.If you go back to page 5 there are a couple different breads mentioned that are one point for 2 slices.
  • I can make a grilled cheese for 3 pts by using WW wheat bread, 2 slices is 1pt, I spray the bread with ICBINB spray, and use 1 slice american cheese which is 2pts. You could lower it to 2pts if you used FF american cheese, but I personally will sacrifice 1pt for the good stuff


    My day in a nut shell:
    B: shredded wheat and bran 3pts
    1c. milk 2pts
    1 banana 2pts

    L: apple 1pt
    7 RF Triscuits 2pts
    1 wedge laughing cow cheese 1pt

    S: 2pt ww bar

    D: 3oz. bourbon chicken 4pts
    1 potato 1pt
    green beans 0pts

    That's 18pts out of 28. I honestly don't know why I'm so low today...I guess not packing a bag full of food at work does help, or hurt...I normally pack a lunch bag full of different things, yogurt, apple, granola bars, etc....Today kids in our town were called off school cuz of snow, and so I knew I'd come home for lunch to check on my munchkin, so I figured I didn't need that bag...guess I shoulda at least taken some snacks.
  • Yup.. when I make the grilled cheese, I use the bread that is 2 slices for 1 pt. and then the fat free cheese that is 1 pt each and the spray butter that is 0 everything.. .

    here is my day... already better than yesterday!!! I may have some fruit later.. not sure. (YES more fast food lol but it's still working for me which is something I'm thrilled about!!!)

  • Okay, I have to get me some of that bread then. The bread I am using is what I thought was a very healthy choice, Dempsters 12 Grain bread.. but it is 2 points per slice..

    SO the 1 point for 2 slices is the weight watchers brand? (I will look back and see for myself.. I just hope the bread is available in Canada)

  • There may be others as well.Take your points slider with you when you go to the grocery store and check different brands.
