    What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm more determined than I've ever been. When I went to New York, I realized that when I could hardly fit in the coach seats that there was a problem.

    Goal Weight: short term: 211 for 10% weight loss. Healthy BMI: 145. Long term WW goal: 115. Although, I've been that weight before (yes really!) and looked extremely thin, so I may not go that low. Right now I'm aiming for a nice in the middle 140.

    Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: My boyfriend! His favorite thing to do on a date is try new restaurants, and lucky him, he doesn't gain weight from it like I do. I have, however, explained my weight loss goals to him, so I'm hoping he'll be supportive.

    Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: I love to eat. I am a carboholic. My BF loves to eat and cook so it makes it hard. Portion control is what kills me.

    Following any specific plan: not right now. My main goal to start is to work on portion control and counting calories. Then once I have that down for about a month then I will add in exercise (or maybe sooner depending on how i feel)

    What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: This is the heaviest I have ever been. About 5 years ago I weighed 212 and I worked out 2 times a day 6 days a week and got down to 160. Then I fluctuated 20 pounds up until 2006. Then I don't know what happened. It seems like all the sudden I was at 265. I gained 100 pounds. So I know that I don't just need a diet. I need a lifestyle change. If I don't change my eating habits and exercise habits I am always going to be going back and forth with my weight and I don't want that. I am looking to get rid of the weight for good.

    Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: i love food!! Especially bread, rice and sweets. Which seem to be a staple in my family. I can eat in moderation, but I constantly snack, sometimes without realizing and that has got to go!

    Following any specific plan: I am trying Atkins, just so I can wean myself off of the bread and bad carbs.

    What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I never realized how my health took a backseat to everything else. I want to be healthy and at a healthy weight so that I can enjoy my life so much more. I want it to change. It's a new year and I need to work towards a new me!
