Frouf, we're off to the Picton area. We plan to visit wineries (you notice that's #1), beaches and go on a boat ride. I've already made the dinner reservations for Friday and Saturday nights, and lunch Sunday. It really gets busy there, so you can't just walk in anywhere. We're bringing a blanket and our new folding chairs, so will be ready for anything.

Today is ME day. I'm off to the infamous manicure and pedicure this morning, and this afternoon, it's eyebrows and hair cut. I'll see if I can get an after pic to post.

Sandra - you will look gorgeous for your weekend trip away. We used to live in Belleville for a while (don't ask!) and often drove over the bridge to Picton and Sandbanks - such a lovely area (didn't realize they had wineries there!). Have fun and enjoy!

I am at work - still tired - trying not to be too crabby? Big boss expected back soon so I am preparing for that! Trying to stay focused on the coming weekend (gotta love these 4 day weeks) which is supposed to be super hot. I know I need to get my planting done - but my sil's pool is probably calling my name?

Packed up a lot of food/snacks for myself today - decided I'd rather come in a bit later (with all my supplies) than get to work earlier than be at the mercy of the food court/stores for meals/snacks - never know what will end up in my mouth! ha ha ha

Maybe I'll go hunt down the menu thread?

Step one finished. I must admit that she did a great job. I'm going to go back there in September for my next "special" occasion. I paid this time because there was a $40.00 manicure/pedicure special, and I'll keep my gift certificate for the next time. I'm actually looking forward to the hair cut. I hope I'll be as excited when it's over.

Frouf, you sound like you could use a "special" weekend. It's good to have a pool to go to.

good morning. i weighed this am and my weight is going in the right direction. i had a larger dinner than normal and was worried, but all is well. i go get my permanent crown this am. after that, no more doctors till the end of the month. hallelujah!!

paula, i hope you have a big success with your garage sale.

Good day all. I couldnt' get on this site this morning. It was loading SOOO slowly. I woke up feeling a little better, and had decided to try to tough it out and not see the doctor. But now, as the day is going by, I feel yuckier and yuckier. So I'm going in in about an hour. Luckily they had a spot. I just hate to go if it's nothing, but if it isn't, I guess I need to get it taken care of.

And, how's this NSV for you? We took the girls to McDonald's for lunch, and absolutely nothing there crossed my lips. Not even one little french fry. Instead, I came home and am currently eating a beautiful taco salad.

I'll check in again after my doctor's appt.

Good afternoon everyone. I spent all morning pulling stuff out of the basement and hauling the rest of the stugg from the back deck and from inside the house. I have put most of it out on tables but I will have to finish tomorrow morning after work or Sat when I get home. I have to go get ready for work tonight. I hope you all have a nice couple of days. I may not be able to post again until after the yard sale on Sat.

Good afternoon ladies, just poppin in to say hello. We just got home from the lake, it was very cloudy today but the kids still had a ball. Let me get them all bathed and settled and I will catch up a little later.

I'm back from the doctor...yet another sinus infection. He gave me some antibiotics and some steroid nasal spray. He said that if it comes back again, I'll have to go get my nose scoped. Whee, that sounds fun!

I'm off to rest...
