I follow the green menu 100%. Everything is always weighed and measured. Always. I'm a perfectionist though, so this kind of a strict plan is ideal for me - wiggle room makes me uncomfortable and discourages me. For example, I wouldn't know if a plateau or gain is because of one of my choices. This way I always know I followed the plan and there's nothing I could have done better so that gives me confidence to keep going and get through those disappointing weigh-ins.
I'm saving wiggle room for that year I'm on maintainence.
BTW - I have been 100% on plan for 15 weeks now, not so much as a single BLT (Bite, Lick or Taste) off plan, and I do not get the 3-5 lbs a week they "guarantee". But close enough - my average is 2.7 lbs/week. Hope that helps.
