Hi ladies!
First, let me say I'm sorry for being AWOL for a while. I have been around, pretty much lurking and not posting. I have been under tons of stress (for financial reasons) and I am trying my best to overcome them quickly. To make a long story short, I gave up on all my diet goals and got all the way back up to 278!!!! I was so ashamed I didn't even want to post. Well, I am trying my best to be optimistic (I am thinking things will get better soon) and I have started eating right again. I am back down to 263.2 so I am hoping to see the 250s again very soon! I will try my best not to go so long without posting, we're on a little bit of a hard time right now(nothing I can't get us out of) so I get stressed and try to hide sometimes.
Imtrying - I have been off for a while to and I'm just now getting back on track! It is so hard to let ourselves slip when we have lots on our mind! Just take it one day at a time!
Honeybee - WOW! Congrats on your lose! You are doing great! Glad to hear you are going to have a buddy working with you. I'm sure it will help to have each other to motivate! Keep up the good work!
Jen - Welcome to the thread! Glad to have you hear!
Taliee - You are sooooo close to the 260s! I can't tell you how proud of you I am friend!!! You have done soooo wonderful! I am so glad you like your new job! I love your random sections of your posts, it is always good to hear things about everyone besided weight struggle. It makes you feel more real to me, does that sound strange? Look how far you have come so far!! OH! I wear flats as well, I think it is because I have a complex with my height. I'm 5'9 and my husband is 5'10 so even a one inch heel makes us the same height and that just makes me uncomfortable. I'm sure that sounds silly, but I've always had that complex I suppose. Anyways, I think you are doing fabulous and I think your July goal of 265 is soooo reachable!! Congrats!
Shelly - Oh buying a house is a wonderful thing and very rewarding in the end! I have been off plan lately as well and I'm just now getting back on track! Swimming is a really great way to burn calories and I think with your plan to swim and work out you will start melting those pounds away again! I think your idea of allowing yourself one night a month to drink and party is a good thing. If you try to completely cut out something you like doing, then you are more likely to binge! I think your goal is perfect, moderation is key! Keep your head up, you already look fantastic and look how far you have come!
Well ladies, it is lunch times and the kids are getting restless. I am glad to be back, sorry for the small vent, I am just stressing! I'm glad to be back and see that everyone is still here
