  • ANGE82much: I'm the queen of slow losers, but I know it'll be worth it in the end : )
  • Just stopping by real quick to say good morning. We got our boat loaded with toys & ready to go, waiting on a couple of kids & we will spend the day out on the water. It was a very hot day yesterday, 97 degrees in the shade & today will be the same.

    Hope everyone enjoys their day!

  • Just checking in quick. As expected, I am still stuck on 200. All things considered, it could have been worse. Exercise makes such a difference and I know when I don't do it, I don't lose. So last night we did the dam hike on the dam road in the dam rain. By the time we got back, we were soggy and frozen, since it was cold and drizzling. Poor Buster dog still had chilly damp fur a couple of hours later, so I finally tucked him into a blanket.

This morning Robert and I rode the bicycles...for the longest I think I've gone in a long time. I'm gonna drive the same route in a little while to see how far it was and there are 3 pretty good uphill climbs on this route. I was surprised that I only had to stop once. I can only imagine how nice it will be to do the same activities when I am at goal...YEEEHAAA!

Hope everyone is haveing a great weekend.

  • Good for you Barb! Have to laugh about it being chilly though, we're at 105 with the heat index. Think I need to head your way for the summer!

Heidi: love the new avatar! good for you with the spinning and biking. I liked spin class but because of my knees I can't do any of the standing, and the seat about killed me : (

I got to see the kids and grands today for a couple of hours. We took DS 19 out for lunch to celebrate his birthday. Still can't believe my "baby" is now 19! I hope everyone has a great week : )
