  • Had one of those days whee I started off well, on plan then I got horribly derailed after lunch and by dinner was a mess. Tried to regroup & took the dog for a walk. I am refreshed after a shower and looking forward to a new day tomorrow. TGIF!!
  • I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow night and I will be gone for 5 days. The boyfriend is taking me to Tokyo for my vacation time away from school here in South Korea. I'm super excited. I'm going to weigh in tomorrow morning, but if I haven't lost anything this week I will probably take a freebie for this week. Hope everyone else does well this week and continues strong to next week. I'll be back around next Thursday.

    The weight has stabilized after 2 days of big (for me) losses. I was kinda bummed since I'm literally on the brink of a new decade. On the other hand, I'm thrilled with the being at my lowest weight, so I won't dare complain!!
  • Yes, we are going to have another Boost challenge. I meant to post it last night, but all my siblings were over last night, so I forgot. It will be posted shortly.
  • Today I woke up almost feeling normal again....yay! I am going to hit the working out full force today, no more babying the hip, I feel I am ready for it again....finally! I'm kind of stuck at this very slow 1 pound a week loss which I hate, but at the same time eating has been slightly off and I haven't been able to really exercise so I guess I should be happy I still get that 1 pound!

  • Hi Team! Sorry I haven't been around much....this is my busy season at work, so I don't have as much time to get online.

    How 'bout we have a discussion question?
    "What is your greatest obstical to weight loss, and what are you doing to eliminate or reduce its affect?"
  • Well I do not have anything to report except that I have not gained this week. I have had some bloating issues and over eating issues and thought I lost some earlier this week but I am assuming it is just evening out. I am going to go ahead and post my weight because I am unsure of my computer at home but if it is working I may adjust on sunday. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!
  • Well I posted my WI today. that is how I figured out away around the whole "I'm not online as much on the weekend." Plus my other challenge WI is on fridays and it was just easier.

    I am down 1.8 from my "actual" starting weight. Although it won't count for the team its a big deal for me

    I'm also going to try eating less than 100 carbs every other day. My version of carb cycling. I really want to keep up this 2 lbs a week loss and at my weight losing more than 1 lb is really hard. So anyone every tried this? Any luck?
  • Good Evening well WI is tomorrow for me and not sure how it has been this week - I think a loss but not positive as my eating has not been OP all week but fairly good

    Shan have a great time on your vacation, can't wait for mine to get here but hey it is only a few days away- yipeee

  • crcossel - good job! It doesn't matter that it doesn't count for the whole team, we like to see everyone doing good.
  • *whew* what a week it's been! My dad was released from the hospital today, so that's a relief. He's doing MUCH better, and will now go to live w/ my sister. I'm using my freebie this week, since it's TOM for me. Plus I ate out too much this week. (too much going back and forth to the hospital)

    Hope everyone is doing well. I'll try to talk more now that things have hopefully calmed down.
  • chewysmom - glad to hear your dad's out of the hospital and that your sister is able to help with his care. hopefully will lighten some of the load from you and allow you to destress some. good luck with everything
  • chewysmom that is great news that your father is out of the hospital and very good of your sister to let him stay with her

    Yes eating can fall off track when you are traveling back and forth to the hospital but you will get right back on track and do what you need to do

  • Hiya ladies, well I'm weighing in today as I'm leaving for the weekend. Scale was down to 227 today, which is awesome as I've lost like 7 pounds this week, however I'm still only 2 pounds under my starting weight for this challenge! Oh well, at least I'm still not over I guess! I am really working my ars off trying to lose 17 more pounds by Feb 6th which is 3 weeks away so I will have lost 100 pounds by my tattoo date, but I don't think it is going to happen realistically. 5 1/2 pounds a week consecutively for 3 weeks is a lot to ask from my body. That's what I get for taking 2 months off and eating whatever the heck I wanted and gaining like 15 pounds back though!
    Anyways, going to be away but hope everyone else has a great weekend!
